If Disney was trying to keep the inclusion of Spider-Man related characters in the upcoming Marvel Disney Infinity 2.0 video game a secret, they did a crummy job of doing so, as there were several Spidey-related scenes in the Disney Infinity 2.0 premiere trailer. Even if that was Disney’s intent, however, the time for secrets is past! At the 2014 E3 Expo this week, Disney officially revealed all the details for the Ultimate Spider-Man portion of Disney Infinity 2.0–including the Disney Infinity 2.0 figures of Venom, Iron Fist, Nova and more!

It’s the toy collecting equivalent of the irresistible force meeting the unmovable object! I’ve been fiercely adamant in my stance that I was never going to pick up any of the Hasbro Marvel Super Hero Mashers figures, as I thought they were pretty much the most ludicrous thing ever the first time that I saw them.

But Hasbro has found my weakness, and has moved in to exploit it: Loki toys! The Marvel Mashers Loki and Doc Ock figures have now been released!

After their debut at the Bandai Tamashii Nations Summer Collection 2014 event last month, many Marvel collectors have been waiting restlessly for the latest pair of Bandai S.H. Figuarts Iron Man 3 figures to go up for pre-order. Well, it took a few more weeks than many fans would like, but the day is here. Bandai doesn’t have the rights to distribute these figures in America, so they’ll be a tad expensive, but they come with some very cool first edition exclusive extras! The S.H. Figuarts Iron Patriot and Iron Man Mark 42 figures are now up for order!

As a big anime fan and anime figure collector, the annual Bandai Tamashii Nations collector events are some of my favorite occasions to look forward to. Usually I’m looking forward to these shows for news on Gundam or One Piece or Dragon Ball Z, but the last few years Bandai has also had a slight Marvel presence. And at this weekend’s Bandai Tamshii Nations Summer 2014 Collection event, they finally debuted their first two figures from Iron Man 3: the SH Figuarts Iron Patriot and Iron Man Mark 42 figures!

This latest news isn’t regarding one of those characters. In fact, it’s a new figure of a character who’s gotten more merch in the past few years than any other. Despite LEGO’s best efforts, photos leaked out from the 2014 Toy Fair International of all of the Guardians of the Galaxy LEGO Marvel Summer 2014 sets. All of the sets–save one! Perhaps it was because it was the smallest of the sets and most difficult to photograph, or perhaps because folks were less interested in it than the other sets on display. Regardless of the reason, we’ve yet to get a good look at the LEGO Guardians of the Galaxy Starblaster Showdown 76019–until now! And while the set includes just one exclusive minifigure, it’s one many fans will want to army-build…

I do it with blind-boxed vinyl figures. And two of the blind boxes that I picked up this week (of many) were my first two KidRobot Marvel Labbit Minis Series 2 “bloxes”.
