Did you go bonkers with glee when Funko announced the Funko Dancing Groot POP! Vinyls figure that was finally released last month? Did you rush to Entertainment Earth to pre-order their exclusive Funko Dancing Groot Ravagers POP! Vinyl figure, with the vibrant red pot for Baby Groot to sit in? Well, if that repaint got you excited, another new Funko POP Vinyls Dancing Groot has been announced that will really get your adrenaline pumping: the Funko “I Am Groot” Dancing Groot POP! Vinyl exclusive figure!

…Alright, now this is just getting a little bit silly. Following up on the release of the “sorta-canonical” plain Dancing Groot Funko POP figure, we got a repaint in a red pot with a Ravagers logo stuck on it. Not the most compelling variant, but I’m “all-in”, so I ordered one.

But now we’re getting our second pot-color variant, and I’m getting a little bit worried. This is probably the cutest version of this particular mold that we’ve seen, but did we really need a green Dancing Groot pot with “I Am Groot” written on the front as a variant…? I certainly hope we’re not going to get a whole rainbow of these Dancing Groot vinyl exclusives with different-colored pots.

But wait–! That’s not all! Why settle for the Loot Crate Exclusive Glow-in-the-Dark Mossy Groot POP Vinyls figure or the plain old Groot POP Vinyls figure, when you can have this exclusive Extra Mossy Groot POP! Vinyls figure?! Oy. When I said this was getting a “little silly”, I think I should have said “a lot silly”.

The Extra Mossy Groot POP! Vinyls figure is currently internationally exclusive through Australian retailer Popcultcha, but will definitely be available in the United States as well (though the retailer isn’t yet known–I’d assume Hot Topic or Entertainment Earth).

The Funko POP Vinyls Dancing Groot “I Am Groot” variant figure will be exclusively available at Hot Topic stores in the United States this winter, as well as being available internationally through Australian retailer Popcultcha. I already own the other four Funko POP Vinyls Groot figures (as well as both Funko Hikari Groots), so I’ll be ordering this one as well, even if it is overkill at this point.
