So, uh…do you have an extra ten or twenty thousand dollars that you’re not using? Are you the type of person who says stuff like, “Boy! I sure wish I had a seven foot tall statue of the Iron Patriot from Iron Man 3?” If so, Sideshow Collectibles may have just the thing for you! Coming in November 2013 at the low, low price of just $9,500 shipped each, it’s the Iron Man 3 War Machine and Iron Patriot Life Size Figures by Beast Kingdom!

When Sideshow Collectibles put Beast Kingdom’s Iron Man 3 Iron Man Mark 42 Life Size Statue up for order for $8499.99 plus $500 shipping earlier this year, I thought that they had gone flat-out insane.

Turns out I was wrong, and there’s another level of insanity that Beast Kingdom/Sideshow has now managed to reach, as they’ve put that $9000 figure to shame by putting up for order not one, but two, Iron Man 3 Life Size Statues that cost $9499.99 shipped each. …No, really. Really.

With the economy being what it is today, I’m not entirely certain that a market for these Iron Patriot and War Machine Life Size Figure statues truly exists, but Beast Kingdom certainly seems to think so (or else they wouldn’t have invested likely hundreds of thousands of dollars into the tooling for these statues). They certainly go look classy enough, and will definitely be the centerpiece of any collection they’re a part of, but, well… you have to pay almost ten grand for them first.

Depending on your tastes, you can get the Life Size War Machine Mark 2 armor statue in either its patriotic Iron Patriot colors or its plain grey original War Machine colors. Considering that the Iron Patriot does next to nothing of relevance in the Iron Man 3 movie, whereas the War Machine colors are more famous but don’t appear in the movie at all (unless they add them as a deleted scene on the Iron Man 3 Blu-Ray), it’s going to be a tough choice to make. If I were going to buy one of these 86″, light-up statues, I’d probably go with the more colorful Iron Patriot myself. But, well… I’m not.
