Marvel Legends 20th Anniversary Captain America & Iron Man Up for Order!

It’s a little bit tough to believe (and makes me feel about as old as old as the four strokes I had last month did)–but next year we’ll be celebrating two decades since Toybiz revolutionized Marvel action figures with the first-ever series of Toybiz Marvel Legends figures!  Hasbro will be commemorating this milestone with new versions of all four 6″ figures from that series as a part of the Marvel Legends 2022 lineup, and the first pair is now available for reservations–Marvel Legends 20Th Anniversary Captain America and Iron Man are now up for order!

Although they were not revealed at Hasbro Pulse Con 2021 over the weekend, Hasbro heavily hinted during the panel that we would be seeing 20th anniversary versions of Marvel Legends Toad and Hulk in the future. Collectors have been asking for an upgraded version of Toad for a while now (the Toybiz one is a… little…outdated now), so let’s chalk this up as a big win for long-time Marvel Legends Collectors.

While we will not be seeing the classic clamshell packaging that Toybiz utilized, Hasbro had the genius idea to honor Toybiz is Packaging by including a plastic Marvel Legends logo that can hold a Double sided piece of cardboard. One side of the cardboard features a diorama like scene and the reverse side of the cardboard shows a faux comic book cover To simulate the comic books that were included with the early Series of Toybiz Marvel Legends Figures.

  5. Noticed over the last month no new updates and actually wondered if you were alright. So sorry to hear you experienced that and hope going forward you are healthy and well.

      Love this packaging, I don’t necessarily feel the need to own any more caps or iron mans, but I might pick one up just for the nostalgia. I can’t believe it’s been 20 years, I still remember when spider man classics and then marvel legends came out and blew everything else out of the water…
