Earlier in the week I talked about the Marvel Legends X-Force Archangel that went up for order today. But there was one other big reveal Hasbro brought to New York Toy Fair, which is also launching today—the life size Marvel Legends Doctor Doom helmet is now up for order!

It is absolutely wild to me that we are now in the 10th year of the Marvel Legends life size replicas lineup, which debuted in 2016 with the life size Captain America shield and Iron Man helmet. Not every item in the line has been a huge hit, but it’s still one of my favorite series to see Hasbro expand each year.

And after the success of last year’s Green Goblin helmet, we’re getting another villain replica in 2025: in advance of Doom’s soon to be illustrious MCU debut, it’s time for the comics-based Dr. Doom Life Size Helmet replica to appear!

The timing of this makes a lot of sense to me, as even if Doom doesn’t look quite the same when he appears in the movies, fans are going to be frothing at the mouth for Doom gear as soon as he does show up. And then—Hasbro can sell a movie-inspired premium role-play helmet to collectors as well!

The Dr. Doom helmet here looks pretty much exactly how you’d expect. This isn’t a particularly difficult design to capture in plastic form, but the colors here and the fabric hood go a long way to making this feel authentic.

A display stand with fancy-looking Latveruan emblem on it is also included, which is very nice since 99% of the time collectors aren’t going to be wearing this mask during their daily activities (for the most part ).

This is priced at $124.99, which is a bit more than the first Iron Man helmet costed pre-pandemic, but not a terrible value in that it’s the same MSRP as last year’s Green Goblin helmet and this one also has the cloth hood.

I don’t have a whole lot more to say about this item, as at a glance you probably know for yourself if you’re the type who will wear/display a life size Doom helmet or not. I think it’s well-executed and I’m all-in for this replicas line, so it’s a definite for me.
