Spider-Man No Way Home movie fans are finally getting the Marvel Legends love that they’ve been asking for for the last two years, beginning with last week’s solicitations for all 3 movie Spider-Men, Spidey’s girlfriend, Spidey’s lawyer and the Sandy form of the guy who killed Spidey’s uncle. This week, Hasbro is treating fans to what look like all-star action figures of the two most popular Spider-Man movie villains ever: deluxe Marvel Legends Green Goblin & Doc Ock figures are now up for order!

I don’t think there’s any question that the villains of the original duo of Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies are the most popular and iconic live-action Spidey enemies ever, so it was hardly a shock when fans started rallying for new movie Green Goblin and Doc Ock figures as soon as their return was leaked prior to 2021’s Spider-Man No Way Home movie release. Disney wasn’t ready to play ball at that time (or for quite a bit afterwards), but the destined time is finally here—and so are new deluxe Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus figures!
Both 6” figures are actually really terrific, but I think Green Goblin may be my preferred one of the pair. I wasn’t really into the campy, Power Ranger-looking Willem Dafoe Green Goblin 20+ years ago, but Dafoe’s performance in No Way Home. I’ve never owned a movie Green Goblin toy before, but I’ll be able to start at the top with this awesome fully-pinless figure that comes loaded with accessories.
ML Green Goblin comes outfitted for the final battle in NWH, but also has interchangeable parts in case you want to change him up for your display. He comes with both Helmeted and Unmasked Portraits, a removable hood, goggles and a multi-piece Goblin Glider.
The Glider is really cool, with a decently detailed top and bottom, a pivot to display it at your preferred angle and rotatable stirrups to hold Norman in whatever pose you want.
Obviously this isn’t a Hot Toys or anything, but for a Hasbro MCU Norman Osborn, I think Hasbro has done wonderfully.
Just like in No Way Home, Willem Dafoe is joined by Alfred Molina. Hasbro has gradually been improving their Doc Ock figures over the years, which pays off with this stellar movie Doctor Octopus figure. Collectors have been crying out for non-floppy, non-static tentacles for Doc Ock figures, and that’s just what we get here: all 4 tentacles have
incredibly rigid wire bendies integrated into them so that they can support Doc Ock’s weight and gave him “hovering” above the other figures in our displays.
To facilitate this, Doc Ock has interchangeable tentacle “heads” so that flattened “standing” ones can be swapped in for the default open and closing triangular “claws”.
Doc Ock unfortunately doesn’t have the most thrilling or dynamic head sculpt, but I think it’s a fair Molina likeness that will look fine for most poses.
As both figures are deluded in closed-box plastic-free packaging, their price-point is noticeably higher than a standard Marvel Legends figure, but in this particular instance I think there are enough features to make each figure worth their elevated cost.
The Spider-Man Legends Doc Ock & Green Goblin figures are now up for pre-order, and expected to arrive before the end of the year. The deluxe price-point on these stings, but Hasbro has really nailed these characters here and I think these will both be quite successful at retail.
Will you be picking up either (or both!) of these iconic Spider-Man movie villains, Marvel collectors? What villain (if any) are you hoping will be revealed next?
