It’s been a full 3 weeks since Hasbro gave Marvel Legends fans a fresh injection of pre-orders, but the early winter respite has now come to an end. After being revealed at this week’s Brazil CCXP, Marvel Legends Lizard (Deluxe) is now up for order, along with Marvel Legends Red Hulk and (Andrew Garfield) Amazing Spider-Man! Will you be closing out your pre-orders for the year with any of these Marvel Legends 2026 figures?

Hasbro has been on a bit of a rampage of late with retools of past figures and even straight up re-releases, so it’s not really a stunner to see them return this week with 3 updated versions of previously released figures. And thankfully, I think all 3 are ones that there’s a portion of fandom actually excited for.

The “main event “ so to speak of this wave of ML has to be the long-awaited solo release of the Lizard Build-A-Figure (as Deluxe Lizard).

I reviewed the Lizard BAF way way back in 2018, and I thought the figure was pretty enjoyable back then, even with a head sculpt that didn’t feel comics-faithful and a janky articulated tail. Well, this new deluxe Lizard Marvel Legends figure will fix one of those issues at least.

Hasbro is giving collectors not one, but two new heads with this ML Lizard figure—including a very accurate Todd McFarlane Lizard head that looks straight out of Amazing Spider-Man #313 from 1988. I really, really dig this killer new head.

There’s also a new closed-mouth velociraptor-looking head, which is a different kind of fun. I love me some dinosaur Lizard.

The body itself remains the same, with the same articulation hang ups I complained about in my 2018 review. The 3-segment articulated tail is still especially ugly, and the piece I wish Hasbro had replaced more than any other. It’s not too apparent viewing Lizard from the front, at least. The new heads alone make this a straight-up improvement on the Build-A-Figure.

Red She-Hulk is an interesting choice, as the vengeful Betty Hulk is a character who peaked in popularity and relevance around 15 years ago when Hasbro released her first figure in the Hit-Monkey wave. Even so, her original release sells at a decent markup these days and is rather scarce, so kudos to Hasbro for getting a revisit of her out for the RSHulk fans.

At a glance, it’s apparent that the new Red She-Hulk figure utilizes the underlying Fan Channel She-Hulk body from 2021. Fitting, since this Red She-Hulk is another Fan Channel exclusive not going to mass retail.

There are some minor changes like She-Hulk’s overlay top being changed, but this is otherwise still primarily the same figure (with a couple tweaks).

That’s not to say the 2021 She-Hulk ML figure was bad—it was solid for its time. But Hasbro has come a really long way with female figures in just a couple years, so I wish we got a more modern pin-less articulation scheme instead of a reused one. I do dig the stolen sai of Elektra being included as part of the accessories, though!

Finally, we’ve got another “A-List” Marvel Studios figure making a return appearance: Amazing Spider-Man Andrew Garfield from No Way Home. This is the same figure we got from the No Way Home series, but now without the Andrew Garfield head and with more bold colors on the costume.

I don’t think this version of Spidey is nearly as iconic as the “A-List” Mark 3 Iron Man that returned for pre-orders last month, but movie Spidey will always sell and be popular, so I don’t mind him being in distribution again (especially in a non-Build-A-Figure wave).

Marvel Legends Red She-Hulk and Amazing Spider-Man are up for order now online on specialty stores, whereas Deluxe Lizard is exclusive to Amazon. Only the Spider-Man is expected to get a wide retail release.
