Marvel Legends Spider-Man Lizard Series Hi-Res Photos! SDCC 2017

Now that the SDCC 2017 Hasbro Marvel Panel is officially in the books, Hasbro is finally ready to play all of their cards and has unleashed hi-res images of (almost) everything shown during the panel! First up, let’s take a look at the first 2018 Marvel Legends Spider-Man series, featuring Mysterio, Gwenpool, Lasher, Spider-Punk… and the Lizard Build-A-Figure!

Marvel Legends Spider-Punk Figure Lizard Series

Hasbro unveiled the Marvel Legends Gwenpool and Spider-Punk 6″ figures during a livestream on Friday, and Lasher the Symbiote showed up unexpectedly in their booth on display Saturday afternoon.

But Hasbro was still holding out on us, and had a pair of mega-ton reveals that they were saving for their main event panel Saturday night at San Diego Comic-Con 2017…

Marvel Legends Mysterio Figure 2018 Spider-Man SeriesFirst up, it’s a brand-new, 100% newly-tooled Marvel Legends Mysterio figure! Along with the unique sculpt and awesome new smoke effects pieces for his legs, Hasbro teased a removable dome with something cool underneath! What could it be?! (I seriously want to know.)

Marvel Legends Lizard Build-A-Figure Hi-Res PhotoThe other big reveal for tonight was the long-rumored Spider-Man Marvel Legends Lizard Build-A-Figure! This is the first time Hasbro has tackled the classic version of The Lizard, and they’re definitely doing so in style!

The Lizard BAF features an articulated jaw, a tail that has joints in three places, and also extreme neck flexibility. This looks like the perfect 6″ Lizard figure that fans have always wanted!

2018 Marvel Legends Gwenpool FigureOther details I noticed for the first time during the presentation and in the hi-res images are the paint apps on Spider-Punk’s guitar, Gwenpool’s penguin backpack to store her katanas in (because she’s Gwenpool, y’know?!), and Gwenpool’s alternate “heart hands”.

There are at least two more figures expected to be announced for this wave, rumored to be 6″ Marvel Legends Demogoblin and Spider-Man Noir figures. I’d expect we’ll see these revealed at HasCon or NYCC 2017. Stay tuned!

Marvel Legends Lizard Series Lasher Figure Hi ResI’ll be updating with more hi-res images and details regarding all of the new Marvel Legends figures shown at SDCC 2017 throughout the weekend, so make sure to follow the Marvel Toy News Facebook Page and Twitter Feed for more updates and notifications for when these figures go on sale.

What do you think of the five figures we’ve seen sneak peeked for the first Spider-Man Legends 2018 wave, Marvel collectors? Does Marvel have your future dollars locked up now, or are you still taking a wait and see approach?

  1. Out of all of these, just Mysterio for me. That’s okay though…$ for other stuff!

    • Don’t count Prowler out just yet. We’ve still got a few more cons before this wave is fully revealed. πŸ˜‰

      • I hope the first HasCon, knocks it out of the park. An annual event I can easily drive to. Wife isn’t happy about what this means for our bank account;)

  2. Wonder if Hasbro thinks lizard’s legs are good enough to repurpose for Sauron? Too bad Stegron doesn’t wear pants because then we’d be one step closer.

  3. NO !!!!! this isnΒ΄t a classic Look Lizard i always wanted !
This over designd version looks like a T- Rex to me !!!!!

  4. Im in on Mysterio. This is another wave I will pass on. The Lizard doesnt even look like he belongs in the ML line and will probably fit better in a TMNT display.

  5. The one I want is Demogoblin if he’s one of the two figurea they haven’t revealed. The others im not that interested in.

  6. I think Hasbro went for Ultimate/Earth 616 combination on their Lizard. I love it. I want all of those Spidey Legends.

  7. Dang that Lizard head is a massive disappointment, rest of the figure looks fantastic but that head might be a deal breaker.

  8. I disagree with all the lizard comments, this is exactly how I would want him and I think it is one of the most beautiful bafs yet, let’s just hope the final product looks as good as this version.

  9. Mysterio, yes. A resounding yes. The rest. About as meh as I can feel. (Except for punk rock Spidey which I feel insulted by.)
