Last winter, Marvel collectors were stunned by Diamond Select Toys’ announcement of a Marvel Select Zombie Magneto figure. I remember hearing quite a bit of griping about that figure in the Marvel collecting community, but Zombie Magneto must have done pretty well for himself at retail–because DST will be giving undead Magneto a new deceased friend to play with this summer! Coming in Summer 2015, the Marvel Select Zombie Sabertooth figure is now up for order!

Last year, Diamond Select Toys began producing the first in a series of Marvel Zombies Villains figures with the Zombie Magneto action figure. Disney won’t allow Diamond Select Toys (or any company) to produce zombie versions of their heroes anymore, but doesn’t mind having its most dastardly villains depicted in undead form.

And in a weird twist of fate, just as Sabertooth has reformed and joined the heroic side of the angels in the comics, DST has announced a Marvel Select Zombie Sabertooth action figure!

Zombies are among my least-fvorite things in the world, but I know plenty of you love them, so this super-detailed and super-gross Sabertooth Zombie figure is for you! And whereas your typical Marvel Select action figures tend to be 7″ tall, Sabertooth is a pretty big guy… mutant… zombie, and as such, the Zombie Sabertooth Marvel Select figure will be nearly 8″ tall, towering over his zombie brethren!

Now, these official photos that have been posted of the Marvel Zombies Sabertooth figure aren’t the best-quality photos in the world. Luckily, I’ll hazard a guess that the figure will be grandiosely displayed at this weekend’s New York Toy Fair 2015, so I’ll try to tough it out past my revulsion for zombies and get some close-up photos of the Sabertooth Zombie figure, as well as his diorama base with Green Goblin Glider chunk this weekend.

The Marvel Select Zombie Sabertooth figure is now up for order, and is scheduled to be released in summer 2015.
