NYCC 2025: Marvel Legends 2026 Executioner Series Figures Up for Order! Enchantress!

It’s been 10 long months since the last time Hasbro announced a new Marvel Legends Build-A-Figure series, but those who held onto hope have been rewarded! At NYCC 2025 this week, a wild all-new wave has now been revealed and put up for order: the Marvel Legends Executioner Series featuring Enchantress, Werewolf by Night, Phantom Rider and more! This just might be the weirdest BAF wave ever!

Marvel Legends Executioner and Enchantress Figures 2026 HasbroThe leakers were out in full force for some time prior to New York Comic Con 2025, so the big excitement about this wave wasn’t the announcement of the characters in it (who everyone really knew), but rather seeing whether such a bizarre lineup could be true at at all.
But now the 2025 NYCC Hasbro panel has come and gone, and the veracity of the leaked listings has been confirmed. Let’s take a look…
First off, we’ve got the true headliner for this wave: the comics-based Marvel Legends Skurge the Executioner Build-A-Figure.

The Enchantress Hasbro Marvel Legends 2026 Action FigureThe Executioner has been at the top of many collectors’ wish lists for years, and a lot of fans are gonna be frustrated that he’s a BAF in a mostly unrelated wave. He’s big and looking great, beyond being an expensive ask since you need to buy 6 other $28 figures to build him.
The one other Asgardian in this wave is the Enchantress, who almost thematically has to be available in a wave with Skurge as the Build-A-Figure.

Marvel Legends 2026 Enchantress Figure Packaged in Box

I was mostly happy with the first Enchantress I reviewed in 2016, although after a near-decade I don’t mind getting an upgraded version. The new Enchantress comes with a fresh new magic effects piece that looks more supernatural, as well as alternate hands and the biggest piece of the Executioner BAF (the body).

Marvel Legends Enchantress Figure and Accessories Executioner SeriesI don’t know that this Amora is necessarily a huge improvement over the one we got in the Dormammu wave—but it was a sort of mandatory inclusion for an Executioner series, and I think fans who didn’t get that Enchantress will be happy to get this one.

Marvel Legends Iron Man Mark 72 Boxed Executioner SeriesIron Man Mark 72 was most likely not a hotly-demanded Iron Man variant, but I for one am totally hyped to get this design just about a year after its comic book debut.

Mysterium Armor Iron Man Marvel Legends 2026 Action Figure and AccessoriesFor those raising an eyebrow at this variant, the Mark 72 is the Mysterium Iron Man armor from the Gerry Duggan comics at the tail-end of the X-Men Krakoa saga. I was hardcore into Krakoa, so getting this key armor Tony Stark wore (while married to Emma Frost!) is like candy for me. Love it.

Marvel Legends Warbow Packaged in Box CrystarWhereas the next figure sort of looks like candy with his translucent green plastic, and will also serve as a treat for a swath of classic 80s comic book fans. Following last year’s surprisingly popular release of Crystar, we’ll be kicking off 2026 with his BFF: Marvel Legends Warbow!

Marvel Legends Warbow Figure and Accessories NYCC 2026I think we all know ML Warbow is only happening because most of the Crystar parts can be reused, but the eyepatch adorned archer looks fun nonetheless (and necessary to build Executioner). This is almost certainly the last toy that will ever be made from the Crystar franchise, so I can’t begrudge ultra-obscure Warbow too much for existing.

Marvel Legends Phantom Rider Figure in BoxAnd speaking of obscure niche characters, we’ve got Phantom Rider, the original Ghost Rider. I first learned about this western character when Randy Bowen made a Bowen Designs Original Ghost Rider mini bust a couple decades ago, and I’ve been a fan ever since. Design-wise, this might be the coolest figure in the set.

Original Ghost Rider Marvel Legends Figure and Accessories Phantom RiderIt’s a bit of a bummer we’re not getting a flaming horse for Carter Slade at this time, but the imagery of the all-white dual revolver-wielding cowboy is just too cool. It’s a shame Hasbro couldn’t have just labeled this “Ghost Rider”—I’d love to see Phantom Rider sell like hotcakes to make a horse more realistic.

Marvel Legends 2026 Werewolf by Night Figure in BoxWerewolf by Night makes an appearance in this wacky lineup as well, marking his first Marvel Legends action figure since the Toybiz days.

2026 Marvel Legegnds Werewolf by Night Figure and AccessoriesSadly, I’m not too chuffed with what we’re actually getting here. The new Werewolf by Night is stunningly not fully pin-less, and also comes with a whopping zero accessories beyond an Executioner arm and hand. For $28 MSRP, I think Hasbro could have probably given us a bit more here. It’s unfortunate it’ll be many years if ever before this lycanthrope gets another comics-based figure.

Marvel Legends 2026 Dark Avengers Spider-Man Packaged BOXDark Spider-Man swings into this assortment as well, but not necessarily the iteration that’s most recognizable. This is the 2010s Ai Apaec Dark Spider-Man, the Peruvian God of the Sky. Ai Apaec was part of the second, far less popular Dark Avengers team, so I didn’t really expect this character to be one Hasbro tackled.

Ai Apaec Marvel Legends Dark Spider-Man Figure and AccessoriesI appreciate the slick look of Ai Apaec Spider-Man and the swappable heads with vastly different eyes. Even being a character relatively unknown to the masses, I think this figure will still be quite popular. I’m looking forward to the Dark Hawkeye I have a hunch will finally show up in 2026.

Dark Avengers Spider-Man Marvel Legends 2026 Hasbro FigureThe new Marvel Legends Dark Spider-Man hopefully brings us one step closer to a better version of Doppelgänger Spider-Man being released, because I don’t think Hasbro quite nailed Doppelgänger yet.

Marvel Legends WWII Wolverine Figure Packaged in BoxThe last figure in the wave does not include an Executioner Build-A-Figure piece (thank the Maker), and thus isn’t a compulsory purchase: World War II Wolverine. Yes, just when you thought Hasbro was running out of Logan variants, WWII Wolverine has hit the scene.

World War 2 Wolverine Figure Marvel Legends Hasbro 2026 Executioner SeriesI think there’s some niche market for historical figures like this one, and Wolverine always sells, so this action figure may actually end up somehow being the best-seller in the wave. It’s not for me, but congrats to those wanting a military Logan action figure.

Marvel Legends Phantom Rider Ghost Rider Action Figure with Revolvers

The Marvel Legends Executioner Build-A-Figure Series is now up for order and will be shipping out this winter. What figures in this wave, if any, will you be buying? Anyone planning to complete the whole set and build the Executioner BAF?

  1. Phantom Rider and Warbow are delightful surprises and must-buys for me. Enchantress and Werewolf are okay do-overs I might buy regardless of the BAF. I’ve got near-zero interest in Dark Spider-Man and zero interest in the Iron Man variant, but I really want the Skurge BAF, so I’m just barely willing to buy two unloved figures to get him. I’m grateful that the WWII Wolvie variant has no BAF piece, so I can and will skip him.

I’ve been half-relieved, half-disappointed that Marvel Legends’ output has had a lot of skippable product for me the last year or two, apart from occasional irresistible items like classic Banshee or Rom. Seems like there’s persistent gaps in some of their coverage. I feel like they’re not doing nearly enough comics-based Avengers, for instance, with dozens yet to get the ML nod, ranging from Silver & Bronze Age classics to modern standouts.

As such, my Marvel Legends wish list is pretty heavy on Avengers, albeit with quite a few non-Avengers mixed in as well:

Aleta, Blue Diamond, Charlie-27, Elektro, Enigma (whose Pod or Pod-2 forms would make great BAFs), Finesse, Firebird, Goliath (Foster), Gomi, Googam, Gorgilla, Hazmat, Dr. Toni Ho, Jack Frost (1940s), Jack of Hearts, Lifecry, Lightning (Santos), Lightspeed, Mantis, Marrina, Martinex, Nikki, Le Peregrin, Power Man (Alvarez), Red Hulk (Maverick), Reptil, Shamrock, Silhouette, Silverclaw, Skids, Smasher (Kane), Spitfire (Falsworth), Starhawk, Starlight (Tania), Stingray, Striker, Swordsman (original and 1990s), Tagak, 3-D Man, Turbo (Musashi), Two-Gun Kid, Veil, Voyager, Whizzer and classic-style re-releases or do-overs of Fin Fang Foom and Valkyrie (Brunnhilde) would all be nice. And the release of a Rom figure makes me wonder if they might be willing to do other licensed characters like classic Micronauts, Shogun Warriors, Godzilla and so on…
