Funko brings out a multitude of Marvel POP! Vinyls figures for virtually every single Marvel movie that hits theaters, so it was only a matter of time and patience until we saw Funko’s offerings for the next major Marvel film! I thought perhaps Funko was saving their Captain America: The Winter Soldier POP Vinyls to debut at the New York Toy Fair 2014 next month, but that was not to be! Instead, the quartet of Winter Soldier figures are up for order today, including the first-ever Funko Black Widow and not one but two versions of The Winter Soldier himself!

I went out this morning to pick up this week’s comic books and search for the Amazing Spider-Man 2 & Captain America Marvel Legends 2014 figures, and for a nice change my search wasn’t totally in vain. I stumbled across a full case of the Captain America: The Winter Soldier Marvel Legends figures on the pegs (and yes, I bought all a full set to review this month), as well as the full assortment of Hasbro Super Soldier Gear Captain America: The Winter Soldier 3 3/4″ figures. And hey, these Marvel Universe-scale Winter Soldier figures aren’t all bad…

The K-Mart website is one of my favorite sources for obtaining early images of new LEGO sets for my LEGO blog, so them posting new toy photos early (and often before they’re allowed to do so) is nothing new. Does the dearth of new comic-inspired Marvel Select figures in 2013 got you down? Thus far, Diamond Select Toys has released zero comic book-based Marvel Select figures in the second half of 2013, as all of the recent figures have been based on Marvel movies like “The Wolverine”, “Iron Man 3” and “Thor: The Dark World”.

Yesterday, news leaked out regarding the previously-unknown lineup of Marvel Minimates Wave 55, the Captain America: The Winter Soldier Minimates movie series.

It’s rather appropriate that that news came out on Veteran’s Day, but some collectors were upset with the revealed lineup and a glaring omission from it. Those fans may be in luck, however, as it turns out that the rumored Marvel Minimates Winter Soldier lineup circulating is apparently incorrect…
