It seems like yesterday that I was discussing the Funko Marvel Collector Corps Villains box selling out, but once again another box is gone, as the Guardians of the Galaxy Collector Corps box is now sold out forever and shipping before the holidays this month! But don’t fret too much, because the MCC will continue into 2016 with all-new boxes. And to kick off the year, just in time for Valentine’s Day, everything is coming up Deadpool: the Deadpool Marvel Collector Corps February 2016 box is now up for order!

Everything’s coming up Deadpool! Yesterday I posted my review of the very well-done Hasbro Marvel Infinite Series Deadpool 3 3/4″ figure, which is the only new Deadpool action figure expected to be released at mass retail in advance of this movie’s “Deadpool” movie by Fox.
But while it’ll be found mostly online and in specialty stores, there’s one new Wade Wilson collectible just released that blows all the others away! The Sideshow Deadpool Sixth Scale Figure has just started shipping, and the unboxing photos show that this masterpiece was worth the year-plus wait!
Continue Reading →While it hasn’t exactly been getting the ludicrous amount of hype that other movies coming out in the near future (*cough* Star Wars *cough*) are, there’s a superhero movie hitting theaters in just over three months called “Deadpool”. And while there won’t be a plethora of Deadpool toys at mass retail when the movie does drop, Hasbro has lined up at least one new(-ish) figure for fans to chase after: the Marvel Infinite Series Deadpool figure mold is an oldie, but is it still a goodie…?

But while the NYCC Sideshow booth didn’t meet my lofty expectations, I did get to see some gems in person for the first time, including the Spider-Man Premium Format Figures and the final finished Deadpool sixth scale figure!

Not only was the next series of Animated Marvel Minimates shown–plus Spider-Gwen–but an all-new series also debuted: Marvel Minimates Series 65 is all Deadpool, all the time! And hey–it’s the first action figure of X-Force’s Siryn ever!!

So much so, in fact, that I stood in line at the Toy Tokyo booth at New York Comic Con 2014 in a sort-of-successful attempt to claim the NYCC 2014 Funko exclusives. So I was pretty pumped when Funko announced they’d be attending NYCC themselves for the first time in 2015.
But if there were a prize for lamest NYCC 2015 exclusive, even without knowing all of the other possibilities this year yet, I’m pretty sure the winner would be Funko with the POP! Rides Red Deadpool Chimichanga Truck vinyl set…
Continue Reading →Amidst hundreds of new collectibles on display at San Diego Comic-Con 2015 last month, I know one absence that really bummed out a lot of Marvel collectors was that of any never-before-seen Marvel Select figures (as we’d already seen all of the figures coming from that line for 2015). But while Diamond Select Toys had zero future Marvel Select action figures to reveal, they did premiere a major limited-edition set from one of their other collector lines, and one month later, it’s up for sale: the 8″ Deadpool Retro Figure Collector Set is now up for order!
Continue Reading →With his own FOX movie coming next year, an all-new comic book series this fall and figures and statues coming down the pike from almost every merchandisers, everything’s coming up Deadpool! But one thing I don’t remember anyone asking for is a statue of a sexy female Deadpool. However, maybe Kotobukiya knows what we want even more than we do ourselves, because the Lady Deadpool Bishoujo statue is now up for order!
Continue Reading →Considering that I like the Funko Marvel Hikari vinyls more than just about any other Marvel toys on the market this year, you would think I’d be overjoyed about the first officially-announced SDCC 2015 Marvel Funko Hikari. But due to a combination of expense fatigue and a shockingly high edition size, I’m just not all that psyched about the SDCC Exclusive Funko Cosmic Powers Deadpool Hikari figure…
Continue Reading →With under a month to go until the biggest comic convention of 2015 (that isn’t New York Comic Con 2015), the Marvel exclusives are finally being revealed fast and furiously! I don’t think anyone really believed that there would only be one SDCC 2015 exclusive Funko Marvel POP Vinyl, and sure enough, there are more! But the one Funko has now announced is one I probably should have been expecting, but was not: the SDCC Funko X-Force Deadpool Chimichanga Truck POP Rides set!
Continue Reading →Remember that Marvel Comics crossover from a few years ago called “Siege”, where the Sentry rips Ares in half? Well, I’m picturing that scene as Funko continues their siege on my wallet, ripping my bank account in half with a parade of can’t-skip collectibles. Funko Hikari are my Kryptonite, and another pair have now been announced: the Funko Hikari Blue Deadpool and regular Hulk figures are now up for order! And with discounts, you can get them for almost half price! Read on…
Continue Reading →I have a big problem with Marvel vinyl figures. And the problem is that I can’t stop buying them. It used to be that relatively few vinyl Marvel figures got released each year–but with Funko’s explosion in popularity, the number of Marvel vinyls being released is at an all-time high. At some point I’m going to have to draw the line somewhat (for space purposes if not monetary ones)–but it doesn’t look like I’ll be able to kick the addiction anytime soon! The Marvel Dorbz Series 1 figures are now up for order, and spoilers–they are a-DORBZ-able!
Continue Reading →Of all the various toy lines that I cover on Marvel Toy News, the one that tends to be the most difficult is the Funko Hikari Marvel vinyls. See, Funko tends to announce its new Hikaris like clockwork every Friday–but there’s no warning when a new Marvel one will be revealed, and when one is, it’s typically sold out within hours. Such is the case with the two latest additions: Funko Hikari X-Force Deadpool and Inferno Iron Man!
Continue Reading →When Kotobukiya revealed their ARTFX+ Deadpool statue last year, it became the first “standalone” Marvel ARTFX+ statue, as it isn’t part of the Marvel NOW! Avengers or X-Men lineups. Of course, Kotobukiya might as well have just called this the “Deadpool Series”, because the third version of this Kotobukiya Deadpool ARTFX+ statue has now been revealed: Partially Unmasked Deadpool with Headpool!
Continue Reading →All good things must come to an end, and I’ll be wrapping up the Marvel toys portion of my New York Toy Fair 2015 coverage over the next day or two. But before the end comes, there’s a few more things I want to talk about from the show. Earlier this week I posted my impressions of the nearly two-dozen Vinyl Sugar Dorbz Marvel figures, but Funko brought along a far smaller assortment of a larger and way more expensive line from the new brand as well: the Vinyl Sugar Super Deluxe Deadpool, Groot and Rocket Raccoon figures!
