And the hits keep right on coming on the Marvel Legends front! Hasbro showed off a number of exclusives to the press at the 2016 Toy Fair, but wouldn’t allow photography at that time. One of those exclusives was a comics-based three-pack including Marvel Legends Kate Bishop Hawkeye, Sam Wilson Captain America and All-New Vision. Well–surprise! That exclusive Marvel Legends 3-Pack has now appeared in a Hong Kong Toys R Us!

Things didn’t go as planned as far as secrecy goes with the soon-arriving Hasbro Marvel Legends Captain America Civil War figures wave. Images of both the figures and the top-secret Giant-Man Build-A-Figure leaked out long before they were meant to. But now Hasbro is finally ready to show all their cards, and has released official photos of the entire Marvel Legends Civil War wave!
UPDATE 3/23/2016: Some online retailers are now taking pre-orders for the Marvel Legends Giant-Man Series!

Back before I got sidetracked with a tidal wave of Marvel toy news from New York Toy Fair 2016, I was reviewing the first waves of Marvel Legends 2016 figures.
But now that the news has subsided a bit, let’s get back to talking about this year’s first series of Spider-Man characters with a review of the Marvel Legends Venom! Venom is tough to find and selling for a couple bucks over MSRP on the aftermarket right now–is he worth the hunt?

As much faith as I have in most of Hasbro’s Marvel toy lines, if there’s one Hasbro Marvel action figure line I wouldn’t buy based solely off the official photos, it’s the Titan Hero Series. So even though the Civil War Titan Hero Falcon and War Machine figures went up for order online a few days ago, there was no way I was picking them up without seeing them in person. But to my delight, I saw both 12″ figures locally today–and they may be the best Titan Heroes ever!

One of the hands-down biggest surprises for me at last month’s New York Toy Fair 2016 was how much I liked the first two Marvel Legends Prop Replica role-play toys: the life-size Captain America’s Shield and Iron Man’s Helmet. Hasbro said at Toy Fair they’d use the pre-order sales to gauge of the line would be continuing. They must be happy with the sales, because they’ve not posted a Fan’s Choice Vote online for the next addition to the Marvel Legends Role-Play Items line!

I was afraid of a lull in the action, but March 2016 is starting off hot for Marvel toy news! First, Hot Toys finally announced the impending pre-order for their Drax sixth scale figure. Then, packaged photos of the Marvel Legends Giant-Man wave hit. And now, the second wave of Marvel Legends 2016 4″ figures is up for order! Gamora, Rage, The Vision and more–this series is looking mighty fine!

The fact that Disney decided late in the game that they didn’t want toy manufacturers “spoiling” the fact that Ant-Man was going to turn into Giant-Man in the “Captain America Civil War” movie–after many companies had already nearly finished production on their Civil War toys–is causing all the sorts of problems that you might expect. Primarily, Civil War figures that should be arriving any day now at stores can’t even be put up for pre-order yet. But on ebay, some cases of the 6″ Marvel Legends Giant-Man Series have already been released, giving us our first look at packaged photos and the Giant-Man Build-A-Figure!

As we’re now barely over two months away from the release of this summer’s sure-to-be-epic Captain America: Civil War movie, the floodgates have finally started to open and the flood of Civil War toys is beginning to pour in. Among these items is the first officially-branded Captain America Marvel Legends item, which is now drizzling into stores–the Hasbro Marvel Legends Civil War Captain America with Motorcycle!

I heard rumblings a couple weeks ago during Toy Fair that the 2016 Marvel Legends Comic Packs two-packs had landed in the United States, and I’ve been in hot pursuit ever since.
Today, I finally tracked them down at retail–including the hotly-awaited Lady Thor and Sam Wilson Captain America action figures. But while there’s lots to love here, I know some collectors will be disappointed…

Hasbro’s Marvel Legends lines are so popular and under such intense scrutiny that it’s effectively impossible for new products to sneak out that no one’s expecting. Marvel Mashers…? Not so much. And that’s why, just a week after being taken aback by their debut at the New York Toy Fair 2016, I was totally floored to walk into Toys R Us and come face to the face with the entire first series of Marvel Mashers Micro figures…

While Hasbro blew the minds of Marvel Legends 6″ figure collectors at New York Toy Fair 2016 and impressively debuted the Marvel Legends prop replicas and sixth scale figures at the event, there’s one branch of the brand that didn’t get such a grandiose treatment.
Although zero figures we hadn’t seen before were shown off for the Marvel Legends 4″ scale at Toy Fair, I still snapped a ton of photos of Gamora and some of the other upcoming figures…

When the lineup for the first 2016 Marvel Legends Captain America series was revealed, I was dead certain that Mockingbird, Bobbi Morse, was destined to be the hottest figure in the wave. As things ended up, Taskmaster stole that honor and became the most sought-after figure in the assortment… but not by much! The Marvel Legends Mockingbird figure is selling for a couple bucks above MSRP right now on the aftermarket–and it’s because she’s worth it!

Just when I thought that I had covered all of the 6″ and larger Marvel Legends action figures that Hasbro had on display at New York Toy Fair 2016, I remembered that I hadn’t given my impressions of the new 12″ Marvel Legends on display at the event.
Not only did I get to see Iron Man and Captain America in person, but a Marvel Legends 12″ Spider-Man figure was announced and leaped into the showroom for photos…

For a long time, I legitimately thought I was the only adult collector out there keeping tabs on the Hasbro Marvel Titan Hero figure line.
But I learned last year that there’s actually a thriving fandom for the line, so while I was at the Hasbro showroom at New York Toy Fair 2016, I made sure to take some hi-res photos of Hasbro’s multi-tiered display of all this year’s 12″ Titan Hero figures–including Crossbones and more!

Alright, now this is just getting crazy. After the enormous number of 6″ Marvel Legends action figures I talked about in my 2016 Toy Fair Hasbro coverage yesterday, you might think that I’ve already talked about everything that Hasbro had to offer at the event. But you would be wrong–because there’s still a ton of exclusives! Hasbro finally confirmed the home of the Marvel Legends Namor figure they teased us with last year, as well as announcing exclusive Marvel Legends movie Falcon, Bucky, Agent 13 and more!
