I woke up this morning to the most beautiful orange sight that I’ve ever seen in my life. No, it’s not something as disgustingly romantic as the sunrise (and I haven’t been awake early enough for the sunrise in about a decade). A couple months back, Kaiyodo announced the upcoming release of the first Marvel character (and third character overall) in their Revoltech Revolmini line of 4″ micro Revoltech figures: the Revol Mini Iron Man Mark VI from “Iron Man 2”. At this point it feels like there are about a million Hot Toys Iron Man sixth scale figures out there, but there’s no Iron Man Hot Toys figure that’s been more in-demand and clamored for by fans than a re-release of the Iron Man Mark III from the original 2008 “Iron Man” film. I love Hot Toys; I love Iron Man 3. Ergo, I typically have no problem whatsoever with Hot Toys milking the Iron Man 3 license and sucking our wallets dry. That said, even I had to furrow my brow today–just a little bit–when Hot Toys announced an all-new Iron Man 3 Hot Toys Hall of Armor House Party Protocol Version diorama! You’ll be able to build your own Iron Man 3-style Hall of Armor, and the price is supposed to be affordable, but, well… the quality of this new House Party Protocol Hall of Armor definitely remains to be seen…

Last month Hot Toys released a teaser poster, giving us our first look at the Hot Toys 2014 Toy Fairs Exclusive figures–including (as expected) another Iron Man figure from Iron Man 3. I buy almost as many import anime toys as I do Marvel toys, so I’m pretty familiar with Japanese manufacturer Banpresto. In fact, they make some of my favorite static One Piece figures, including the detailed Grandline Men and Master Stars Piece lines. Banpresto is perhaps most famous, though, for their game center prize figures, including the World Collectible Figures (WCF). Usually the WCF line is reserved for anime and Japanese characters, but this fall Banpresto will bring Marvel into the WCF world–the Iron Man World Collectable Figures are now up for order!

After their debut at the Bandai Tamashii Nations Summer Collection 2014 event last month, many Marvel collectors have been waiting restlessly for the latest pair of Bandai S.H. Revoltech is one of the most renowned and frequently imported action figure lines in the world, so it was only a matter of time until they decided to expand into new areas.
