There are few things in collecting life as sobering as realizing you don’t have the strength to force together all the pieces of a Marvel Legends Build-A-Figure while recovering from a [series of four] stroke[s]. But that’s precisely what happened over the weekend, when my wife had to construct the Iron Man Legends Ursa Major figure for me. However, once the deed was done, I got to enjoy the delight of yet another Marvel character I cannot believe Hasbro made a super-articulated action figure of. Is buying almost the entire Marvel Legends Iron Man series to build this Ursa Major BAF worhwhile or just too much to bear? Here’s my review…

Marvel Legends 20th Anniversary Captain America & Iron Man Up for Order!

It’s a little bit tough to believe (and makes me feel about as old as old as the four strokes I had last month did)–but next year we’ll be celebrating two decades since Toybiz revolutionized Marvel action figures with the first-ever series of Toybiz Marvel Legends figures!  Hasbro will be commemorating this milestone with new versions of all four figures from that series as a part of the Marvel Legends 2022 lineup, and the first pair is now available for reservations–Marvel Legends 20Th Anniversary Captain America and Iron Man are now up for order!

While it was a virtual certainty that we’d see a Marvel Legends Black Widow movie series in 2020, I don’t think many folks would have placed money on the Build-A-Figure of the series being Gennady Gavrilov, the 8th Crimson Dynamo who debuted in the 2003 “Crimson Dynamo” limited series! The rationale for the Marvel Legends Crimson Dynamo BAF being included in the Black Widow wave was obviously “Russian”, which is a little bit of a tenuous connection.
