LEGO has done a commendable job keeping their sets for next year under wraps up until now, but as we approach the new year leaks were bound to be sprung–and one such leak occurred this weekend, when the Canadian Walmart website accidentally posted the first hi-res images of one of the LEGO Marvel 2014 sets. LEGO Marvel fans were dumbfounded when the trio of LEGO Iron Man 3 sets were revealed. The major shocker wasn’t even that two of the three Iron Man LEGO sets didn’t occur in the movie at all (Iron Man vs. The Mandarin in a giant tank?! If you’re like me and buy a gadjillion toys every month, you probably begrudge LEGO for consistently releasing a lot of expensive sets. It used to just be LEGO Star Wars that wanted a piece of my wallet, but LEGO moved in for the kill with last year’s LEGO Avengers and this year’s LEGO Iron Man 3 lines. Just when I thought we had seen every single one of the 2013 Marvel SDCC Exclusives, a few more sure-to-be-coveted figures have made themselves known!
