Sideshow Collectibles teased fans this morning when they announced that two “long-awaited pre-orders” would finally be going up for order today in honor of the last day of Spooktacular 2013! Most Marvel fans latched onto this tidbit with dreams of the limited Hot Toys Midas Iron Man 1/6 figure flashing before their eyes, as that’s easily the most-anticipated item not up for sale. Well, Sideshow did make good on their promise of a long-coming pre-order, though not the one fans had in mind–the Sideshow Apocalypse Premium Format Figure Exclusive Edition is now up for order!

When Sideshow Collectibles put up the teaser images of their upcoming J. Scott Campbell Spider-Man Comiquette statue trio, I was quite certain the only one I’d be getting was Gwen Stacy. I hate Mary Jane as a rule, and I didn’t think the Spider-Man J. Scott Campbell statue would bring anything to the table I hadn’t seen before. I was so wrong, though, as the exclusive version of the J.
