“What’s that? Hot Toys is making a new Iron Man figure?! You don’t say!” But seriously, due to the complex licensing between Sony and Disney for Spider-Man, the Spider-Man Homecoming Iron Man Mark 47 armor permutation is the first armor in a long, long time I wasn’t sure if we’d get a fully-articulated die-cast version of. A semi-poseable Mark XLVII went up for sale a few months ago, but I shouldn’t have doubted–the Hot Toys Iron Man Mark 47 Die-Cast figure is now up for order!

Earlier this month, to the delight of thousands of high-end Spidey collectors worldwide, Hot Toys finally put their classic-ish red-and-blue Spider-Man Homecoming figure up for order. At the time, while Hot Toys announced that an unmasked Peter Parker Tom Holland portrait would be included, the sculpt was still unapproved and blurred out at the time. But it turns out we don’t have to wait months for the mic drop this time–the Hot Toys Tom Holland head has now been revealed!
Continue Reading →The summer movie season is upon us, and thus, for the second Marvel Collector Corps box in a row we’ve got a new MCU movie theme! Not to be confused with last year’s comic-based Spider-Man box, this time out it’s the Funko Marvel Collector Corps Spider-Man Homecoming box! The mass retail line for this movie seemed pretty comprehensive, so I was really curious what was going to be inside this mystery box. Let’s take a peek…
Continue Reading →When Hasbro officially announced that the Marvel Legends Spider-Man Homecoming Build-A-Figure built by buying the whole wave wasn’t going to be a figure at all–but rather the movie Vulture’s Flight Pack wings–tons of collectors called foul (no, not “fowl”–vultures aren’t fowl). After all, the series “Build-A-Figure” being an accessory was unheard of in Marvel Legends. But as soon as I saw the Marvel Legends Vulture at the 2017 Toy Fair, I knew Hasbro had done right by us: this Vulture Build-A-Figure is spectacular…
Continue Reading →The King of Exclusives has been on a roll ever since the short respite last month, and now Funko has let the cat out of the bag on their Marvel SDCC 2017 Exclusive POP Vinyls exclusives! While there aren’t a ton of SDCC Marvel exclusives this year, there’s no denying there’s a handful of big names–including POP Bucky Captain America, Red She-Hulk, a new movie Tony Stark and more!
Continue Reading →Ever since we found out that Spider-Man would officially be in the Captain America: Civil War movie close to two years ago, fans have been drooling over the prospect of a new 12″ Hot Toys MCU Spider-Man in his movie costume. We didn’t get a Civil War version for licensing reasons, and the first Homecoming Spidey turned out to be the neat-o–but definitely not classic–Homemade Suit Version. But finally, the one fans really want is on the way: the Hot Toys Spider-Man Homecoming Deluxe figure is now up for order!
Continue Reading →They say that there’s a first time for everything, and with that in mind, I think we may have our first-ever sole heavy-packed Marvel Legends 6″ figure being the hardest-to-find figure from a series! When the Marvel Legends Spider-Man Homecoming series leaked out in April, only the two-per-case Web Wings Spider-Man was nowhere to be found, leaving many Vulture Build-A-Figures incomplete. But Web Wings Spidey has finally flown in and is available online and in some Walmart stores already! Was he worth the wait?
Continue Reading →If there’s one thing about the various lines of Spider-Man Homecoming toys that I’ve seen lamented, it’s the sheer lack of Shocker movie figures. Sure, The Shocker is getting a movie LEGO Minifigure and a Minimate, but folks really wanted a Hasbro 6″ movie Shocker. But wait–! Just when hope seemed lost a 6″ Spider-Man Homecoming Shocker figure has appeared! Of course, he’s not quite the Marvel Legends version many collectors may have been hoping for…

Continue Reading →Even though Hasbro started shipping the 2017 Marvel Legends GOTG and Doctor Strange two-packs months ago, I’ve yet to see a single one of those 3 3/4″ packs in a brick-and-mortar store. So with that in mind, I was a bit dubious as to whether or not this year’s new Marvel Legends Spider-Man Homecoming two-packs would ever actually appear before me at a retail store, or if I’d have to go shopping online for them. But that question was answered for me today, when both the Vulture and Shocker packs appeared before me!
Continue Reading →Ever since Funko debuted their line of Spider-Man Homecoming POP Vinyls figures at New York Toy Fair 2017 and there was no Iron Man to be seen, I’ve been assuming the Homecoming Iron Man POP must be exclusive to the Marvel Collector Corps Spider-Man Homecoming box coming next month. But it looks like that’s not going to be the case, but Funko has just announced POP Spider-Man Homecoming exclusives–including a Target exclusive two-pack with Iron Man!
Continue Reading →It’s that time of year once again! It’s hard to believe, but it’s been around a full year now since we got our last limited exclusive Marvel Hot Toys Movie Promo figures–Battling Captain America and New Avengers Scarlet Witch. Traditionally, the Marvel Movie Promo figures sell out within hours and skyrocket on the aftermarket. It will definitely be interesting to see if this year’s follows suit, though: the Hot Toys Spider-Man Homecoming Iron Man figure is now up for order!
Continue Reading →At this point, there aren’t too many Spider-Man villains that have never had an official 6″ Marvel Legends figure released at least once. But one character that’s been overlooked–at least until now–is the albino mob enforcer, Tombstone. Lonnie Lincoln is finally getting his due from Hasbro, and while his costume might not be everyone’s first choice, the Marvel Legends Tombstone figure that went up for sale last week is really pretty killer…
Continue Reading →I am not a gamblin’ man, so I was not altogether thrilled when I had to roll the dice and hope for the best when Amazon created a listing for a new movie Homecoming Spider-Man Marvel Legends figure with an incorrect old stock photo on Friday. Thankfully, not only did my hunch that this was a new figure pay off–it turned out that instead of the old Amazing Spider-Man 2 figure incorrectly pictured, it was actually my most-wanted figure in the wave: the 6″ Marvel Legends Homemade Suit Spider-Man figure!
Continue Reading →UPDATE 4/8/2017: We weren’t absolutely sure until it happened, but the Bandai S.H. Figuarts Spider-Man Homecoming figure is now up for order in the U.S.! And better still, we’ve got two different options for ordering him! Along with the $65 and free shipping Japanese versions at that link, Bluefin Distribution will also be distributing a U.S. Exclusive version of Homecoming Spidey with a “Tamashii Option Act Wall”… for $35 more. Which option (if either) are you opting for, Marvel collectors?
