Just when it looked like the most exciting thing to happen to me Marvel collecting-wise this week was going to be finding the new Mysterio Berry Dr. Pepper, a photo leaked online Friday afternoon of a previously unannounced Marvel Legends 80 Years figure of what appeared to be a brand new Wolverine variant. We didn’t have long to wait until an official announcement of exactly what that figure was: the Exclusive Marvel Legends Cowboy Logan Wolverine figure is now up for order! I’m not sure anyone was crying out for a new ML Logan–but now that he’s here, he does look pretty sweet…

Just as I had resigned myself to having to wait until July for my X-Men Marvel Legends 2019 figures I ordered online arriving, I got a shipping confirmation for Beast! Turns out Amazon is shipping the figures as they get cases in, regardless of their stated “release date”. Looks like I’ll be waiting a bit for the rest of the Caliban series to arrive, but since Mrs. McCoy’s baby boy has bounced in, I’d be remiss if I didn’t review Beast ASAP…
Continue Reading →UPDATE: Retailers slightly jumped the gun last night, but for those who still need to place their Marvel Legends Spider-Man Far From Home series orders, POs are back online for cases including Mysterio, Hydro-Man, Scorpion, Doppelganger and more!
In addition, there’s Good News/Bad News for those who want single figures! Good: Amazon has singles of Marvel Legends Movie Mysterio, Scorpion, Hydro-Man & co. up for PO individually!
Bad news: They’re currently dated to ship a month after other online retailers. But worth waiting if you want to pick and choose, right?
Continue Reading →With five days until the Avengers Endgame movie hits theaters, I’m continuing on with my look at the first wave of 2019 Marvel Legends Avengers series figures! Last time, I reviewed an obscure character in Citizen V who Hasbro pretty much perfectly in toy form. Going back to the obscurity well, today I’m going to review the Avengers Endgame Legends Living Laser figure collectors will need to buy in order to build Armored Thanos. ML Living Laser certainly looks unique—but is he actually a good toy?
Continue Reading →“Justice, Like Lightning…!” If those words don’t mean anything to you, then you’re probably in the majority of collectors who are scratching their heads at this release from the first wave of Avengers Legends 2010 figures. Whether you know him or not, you’ll need to buy the Marvel Legends Citizen V figure if you want his Armored Thanos Build-A-Figure piece—but is the original Thunderbolts leader a worthwhile figure in its own right?
Continue Reading →The first two Avengers Endgame Marvel Legends figures that I previously reviewed—Ronin and the Armored Thanos Build-A-Figure—were both overall solid figures with a few faults holding them back. But the third and final ML Endgame figure in this Wave is one I’ve had to gather up the motivation to review at all. Hasbro is hoping that we’ll all buy multiples of the Marvel Legends Endgame Captain America figure—but is this a figure that collects will want to own any of?
Continue Reading →While the Armored Thanos Series is technically the first Avengers Endgame Marvel Legends wave of Hasbro action figures, there’s not a whole lot going on so far as characters actually from the movie go. In fact, there’s just two single-packed figures from Endgame in the wave: Captain America and the subject of today’s review. Hawkeye’s absence was keenly felt in Infinity War, but now he’s back with an all-new persona: should you add the Marvel Legends Ronin figure to your collection? Here’s my review…
Continue Reading →Just when it looked like Kingpin was going to slaughter the competition for most-demanded Marvel Legends Build-A-Figure of 2019, Hasbro went and announced—and released!—a figure this week that fans have been asking for ever since Infinity War! You’ll have to pick up six figures from the Avengers Legends 2019 Wave 1 series to build him, so he won’t be cheap (in fact, he’s selling for about 100 bucks alone on the aftermarket!)—is the Marvel Legends Endgame Thanos figure worth all of the hype and expense it’ll take to acquire him?
Continue Reading →UPDATE 4/1/2019: It’s sold out in hours twice before over the last two months, but now it’s back again! For those who’ve been waiting to order the third member of their Black Order, the EXCLUSIVE Marvel Legends Infinity War Loki and Corvus Glaive two-pack is now in-stock online and shipping today! For those who want this set and don’t want to stalk Walmart (and I most definitely do not, myself), you might wanna think fast this time!
Continue Reading →UPDATE: For those who just want to pick and choose their favorites and not deal with a whole case, the Marvel Legends Avengers Endgame Armored Thanos Series is now up for order as singles online, including Ronin, Ebony Maw, Quantum Realm Captain America, Hercules and more!
Ronin ►
Ebony Maw ►
Endgame Captain America ►
Hercules ►
Citizen V ►
Living Laser ►
Nighthawk ►
I would definitely expect to see Ebony Maw and Ronin sell out very quickly as one-per-case movie figures, and Hercules may be popular as well. If those are the figures in this wave you’ve got your eye on, you might want to order now, as they’re ready to ship this week!
Continue Reading →All good things come to an end, and the end of my New York Toy Fair 2019 coverage is today! Earlier this week I looked at the MCU movie half of the Hasbro Marvel Legends 80th Anniversary Series, and today I’ve got the other half, which is composed entirely of classic comic book figures! Closing out my 2019 Toy Fair coverage, it’s Marvel Legends Juggernaut, Colossus, First Appearance Wolverine, Classic Thor and more!
Continue Reading →I’m finishing up my coverage of New York Toy Fair 2019 this week, and I’ve saved the best for last from Hasbro: the “80 Years of Marvel” Legends series! Composed of 17 total figures, I’ll split my previews between the comic and movie figures and focus first on the 10 Marvel Legends 80th Anniversary movie Figures—including Peggy Carter, Korg, Grandmaster, Iron Spider with Mecha-Legs and more!
Continue Reading →There was a great disturbance in the Marvel Legends collecting world this week, as what felt like millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror as their Amazon pre-orders for Professor X were unexpectedly mass-cancelled. That was definitely a bit of a surprise twist–but don’t worry, you can still get a PO for Xavier online from BBTS. But while we all re-order and wait for Professor X to arrive, let’s take a look at the final Riders figure for the year: Marvel Legends Ultimate WWII Captain America & Motorcycle!
Continue Reading →UPDATE 3/1/2019: It took almost exactly one month from the day she was released overseas, by the time Raven Darkholme fans have been waiting for has arrived! You can stop driving around looking for her now: the Exclusive Marvel Legends Mystique figure is now up for order online! Typically these Walgreens Exclusives tend to not last more than a day or so (or sometimes hours), so if you want her online for the sale price–now’s the time! [SOLD OUT as of 2:45PM EST! Hope everyone who wanted her got her!]
Continue Reading →I’m edging closer and closer to having discussed every new Marvel Legends figure that Hasbro has on display at New York Toy Fair 2019, and today I’m taking a look at not one, but two, waves that are heading our way this spring! Both series still have several figures (including the BAFs) mysteriously under wraps for an obvious reason—because it’s the Avengers Endgame Marvel Legends Series 1 & 2, including Shuri, Ebony Maw and more!
