In a day and age where it’s tough to even get all stores to put out ther street-dated Star Wars figures on Force Friday, an unplanned near-simultaneous nationwide release on a new exclusive feels like a minor miracle. But that’s just what we got this week, when the Marvel Legends Mary Jane & Spider-Man two-pack began hitting Toys R Us stores from coast to coast all on the same day! And they’re not the only new exclusives hitting shelves–the fabled Marvel Legends Invisible Woman has now become visible!

We knew–without question–that a Marvel Legends Lady Thor figure was on the way after Hasbro teased us with a photo of her at the 2017 Toy Fair. We just didn’t know when or where… until photos of the SDCC 2017 Exclusive Marvel Legends Battle for Asgard set popped up online a few weeks back. But hey, while it’s far too late to act genuinely surprised now, at least we can legit ogle these hi-res photos of Marvel Legends Malekith, Ulik, Bor, Odinson and Jane Foster Thor, right?

Marvel Legends Guardians of the Galaxy Wave 2 Up for Order!

When some retailers in the United States started receiving stock of Marvel Legends Guardians of the Galaxy Wave 2 cases last week, the writing was on the wall that Hasbro would allow online retailers to take pre-orders for the series soon. Initially I heard the rumor that pre-orders would open May 8th, but obviously that didn’t pan out. But hey, two days later is better than two months later, right? The Marvel Legends Guardians of the Galaxy Mantis Series is now up for order online!

2017 Marvel Legends Spider-Man 2-Packs Released!

Even though Hasbro started shipping the 2017 Marvel Legends GOTG and Doctor Strange two-packs months ago, I’ve yet to see a single one of those 3 3/4″ packs in a brick-and-mortar store. So with that in mind, I was a bit dubious as to whether or not this year’s new Marvel Legends Spider-Man Homecoming two-packs would ever actually appear before me at a retail store, or if I’d have to go shopping online for them. But that question was answered for me today, when both the Vulture and Shocker packs appeared before me!

I am not a gamblin’ man, so I was not altogether thrilled when I had to roll the dice and hope for the best when Amazon created a listing for a new movie Homecoming Spider-Man Marvel Legends figure with an incorrect old stock photo on Friday. Thankfully, not only did my hunch that this was a new figure pay off–it turned out that instead of the old Amazing Spider-Man 2 figure incorrectly pictured, it was actually my most-wanted figure in the wave: the 6″ Marvel Legends Homemade Suit Spider-Man figure!

When Target stores suddenly started restocking the original 2014 Marvel Legends Guardians of the Galaxy series of figures a couple months ago, I speculated it was because 2017 GOTG Wave 2 wouldn’t be out for a while and Hasbro probably wanted Gamora and Rocket available before the movie hit. With the movie under two weeks away now and no pre-order in sight, that certainly seems to be the case. But one thing that is now in sight is images of all seven figures in this wave packaged…
