Believe it or not, a new wave of MCU movie Marvel Legends figures launched for pre-order today that no one is talking about. Just under two years after Deadpool & Wolverine hit theaters, Hasbro is back with Deadpool & Wolverine Marvel Legends Wave 3… without any of the new characters collectors have been awaiting. Playing a little bit of catch-up today, let’s talk about the two most recent Marvel Legends pre-orders. The motif here seems to be filling in things missing from previous lineups: namely, a “standard” movie Deadpool from Deadpool & Wolverine wave 2 and a solo release of Hulk’s most popular villain: the Marvel Legends Dogpool & Deadpool set and deluxe Abomination are now up for order!

Hasbro interrupted a winter that’s been largely quiet for Marvel Legends news with a slew of new reveals and announcements to kick off this week. First up on the pre-order front is an assortment of fan-demanded MCU movie figures that’s better late than never. While every release in the Marvel Legends Maximum line of figures so far has had its naysayers, I think Maximum Deadpool received the chilliest reception at reveal. With so many Deadpool Legends already in circulation, could the Deadpool Maximum really offer enough to warrant the 50 bucks it costs? Marvel Legends has had a flurry of pre-orders since SDCC 2025 last month, with a surprising number of which being for items not even shown or revealed during that event. Deadpool was actually the very first character I ever bought a full-body resin statue for, way back in 2005 (from Bowen Designs). So you could say I was a Deadpool-collecting fanboy before Deadpool was cool—or at least since before he was gratuitously merchandised. Although there were few New York Comic Con exclusives this year—perhaps because no one was certain if there would be an event at all, given the long-lasting global pandemic—there was at least one cool Marvel exclusive collectible in honor of the show: a limited-edition X-Force Deadpool variant bust by Diamond Select Toys. Peter David’s X-Factor 90s run might be the first X-Men spin-off comic book series that I ever truly loved, so to say Hasbro got my attention when they started building this roster in super-articulated form would be an understatement. I was skeptical the team would come to fruition, but with Guido’s arrival this summer, 90s X-Factor is (more ore less) complete! You’ll have to buy every figure in this year’s Marvel Legends X-Force/Deadpool wave to build the Strong Guy Build-A-Figure: is he worth it?
