San Diego Comic Con 2026 is just over a week away, and while it’s not quite the toy collecting mega-event it was a decade ago, it’s still a pretty big deal. Hasbro has a Marvel Legends panel, Sideshow Collectibles is returning to the show—and MONDO is bringing perhaps the coolest SDCC 2026 exclusive of them all: the MONDO Deadpool X-Men Animated 1/6 figure, packaged as an homage to their own previous SDCC exclusive Wolverine figure!

Deadpool can get away with all kinds of wacky self-referential garbage that other characters cannot. So it seems amazingly appropriate that MONDO would utilize ol’ Wade as a homage to their own Wolverine exclusive from SDCC 2021!

That meme-inspired release featured Logan lying in bed, pining away over a photo of Jean Grey. This year’s Marvel MONDO Exclusive puts a fresh spin on that classic, as now Deadpool is packaged pining away over a photo of his beloved frenemy, Wolverine.

To complement the bromance, Deadpool even comes with a Wolverine pillow and mini Wolverine Itty Bitty Pop” (actually produced by Funko!) as accessories! This whole release is such a fun idea and I really, really love it.

There’s just something very believable about Wade Wilson snuggling up with a zany Wolverine pillow, you know?

And if you prefer Cable as Deadpool’s BBFF in your personal canon, there’s even a swap-out photo for the frame to help you recreate that passionate relationship!

All 5 heads look really great, with my personal favorite being the unmasked head that legit feels like it has some Ryan Reynolds charm.

MONDO has set the price on this SDCC Deadpool at $250. Given the plethora of accessories packed in, the limited edition nature of this release and the fact that that’s almost exactly the price for their regular 1/6 releases in the line today, I think that’s reasonably fair. I don’t love to pay it, but I do love the item itself. YMMV.

The SDCC 2026 Deadpool Exclusive MONDO 1/6 figure goes up for sale online at 11AM EST on Wednesday, July 15th. While this Deadpool is labeled as a “Limited Edition”, MONDO didn’t post the actual specific edition size. Hopefully it’s more than the 500 pieces of flocked Panthor they’ve made for MOTU fans.
