Marvel Legends 2025 Figures Revealed: Dark Ms. Marvel Warbird! Fabian Cortez! Spot!

The march to the new year is officially on, and as we enter the home stretch, Hasbro is continuing to tease collectors with more Marvel Legends 2025 figures coming our way this winter. Last week, they quietly announced the Marvel Legends Moonstone (Dark Ms. Marvel/Warbird), giving fans the first-ever 6” figure of super-villain Karla Soren in her Dark Avengers costume. And at this week’s Lucca 2024 event in Italy, two more surprises were revealed: Marvel Legends Fabian Cortez (of X-Men fame) and a powered-up version of The Spot from last year’s Across the Spider-Verse movie!

Marvel Legends 2025 Reveals Fabian Cortex Spot Dark Ms Marvel Warbird

First up, let me step back and talk briefly about the “Dark Warbird” figure Hasbro stealthily revealed last week simultaneously with the MCM London event. This is Moonstone (Meteorite), who went by “Dark Ms. Marvel” as part of the Dark Avengers. I have to assume she’s being called Dark Warbird by Hasbro because of a mandate for some unknown reason or other.

Marvel Legends Moonstone Meteorite Dark Ms Marvel Warbird Action Figure

The Dark Warbird figure looks to be completely reused from the Target Exclusive Warbird that most fans really dug when it was released earlier this year (I think that was a solid figure, albeit with the scale feeling just a mite small).

I’m not wild about straight-reusing that exact head sculpt for a totally different person, but it’s nice to finally get this classic Ms. Marvel design in action figure form nonetheless. I hope we get a new Dark Wolverine (Daken) and Dark Hawkeye (Bullseye) next year as well. Those would fully round out that team lineup for me personally.

Marvel Legends Fabian Cortex X-Men Figure 2025 Hasbro

X-Men Legends fans got a really delightful treat this week with the Fabian Cortez action figure revealed at Lucca. One of the best-known (and most scheming) members of Magneto’s Acolytes, Fabian Cortez notably appeared in X-Men #1, one of the most successful comic books of all-time.

Fabian Cortez is one of the character X-Men fans most love to hate, and though I’ve traditionally straight-up hated him, he actually grew on me during the recent Krakoan era. Hasbro has confirmed this Fabian Cortex Legends figure will have his trademark ponytail, and the details look spot-on. Give me an Exodus next, please, Hasbro.

Marvel Legends The Spot Across the Spider-Verse Powered Up Spot

Finally, we’ve got an animated version movie version of Spot. This is meant to be how the character looks at his full power in Spider-Man Across The Spider-Verse.

While I do like the lanky, freaky-looking body mold for Spot, I really need to see more photos to judge this figure. The character design itself seems immensely challenging to capture in simple toy form, and the images Hasbro has released so far don’t look especially promising. I’m going to stay open-minded about this Marvel Legends Spot, but at this moment I am not yet impressed.

Marvel Legends 2025 Reveals Fabian Cortex Spot Dark Ms Marvel WarbirdMarvel Legends Dark Warbird goes up for order online at Fan Channel retailers on November 8th, with Spot following later in November and Cortez in 2025. What do you think of these reveals, Marvel collectors? Are there more Acolytes or Dark Avengers you hope to see Hasbro tackle in the near future?

  1. Fraid that’s not the first ever 6″ Karla Soren figure. Remember the Walgreen’s exclusive Moonstone figure from a couple of years ago?

  2. I’m hoping for an alternate head with the Karla Soren figure, so we can finally get a chance to add the classic Ms. Marvel figure to our collections. I’d be happier with the classic as opposed to Dark Avengers version, but I would buy two to have them both for sure.
