Time flies, and the proof is that somehow today is already the 20th Anniversary of the original live-action X-Men movie! Not a company to let such a momentous day go by without celebration, Hasbro has officially launched a quartet of figures we first saw debuted at the 2020 New York Toy Fair: Marvel Legends X-Men Movie Mystique, Wolverine, Magneto and Professor X are now up for order!

  1. I pre-oredered the Wolverine. Isn’t there another version coming? Is that ordered through a different company?

  2. Thought I would at least want the Magneto/X 2pack but after thinking about the fact that I already have the best comic versions of both characters, I’m going to hold off on pre-ordering. I’m happy with my Mystique and plethora of Wolverine figures so those were already a pass. But these figures do look great and I’m glad they’re coming out but I’ll be on the lookout for a more favorable pathway to getting them should it present itself. If not, I’ll be alright.

  3. The Wolverine figure looks really different from what was shown at Toy Fair and not for the better. That’s one sad looking attempt at Hugh Jackman’s likeness.

    I’m also not a fan of the old Xavier and Magneto heads on their younger bodies, especially in the case of the latter. It seems to be a new lazy trend of fan service that isn’t really fan service at all. Kind of like when they released a Lilandra head with the Mystique comic figure. Just give me a Lilandra figure lol!

    Anyhow, I’m going to have to pick up the Mystique figure since she actually looks pretty great, albeit with barely any accessories. I really hope they follow through with this line and make figures for Jean, Cyclops, Storm, Rogue, Iceman and Nightcrawler, based on their appearances in the original trilogy.

    I have to say that the Mystique figure looks pretty great though, not withstanding the lack of accessories.

    Overall, I really hope Hasbro follows through with this line and gives us figures for Jean, Cyclops, Storm, Rogue, Iceman and Nigjtcrawler based on their appearances in the first couple movies. That’s kind of what I had hoped for in the first place.
