Though we’re under a month away from the theatrical release of the Captain America: Civil War movie in theaters, we hadn’t heard a peep from Kotobukiya about any collectibles for the movie. At least, not until this week, when they revealed a pair of complementary statues. I don’t think there’s a Marvel collector in the world who’ll be truly surprised by the characters chosen, but these sure are nice-looking Captain America and Iron Man ARTFX+ statues!

Life is tough when you’re a Marvel Funko vinyls figure collector, because you never know when–or where–the next figures in the endless parade of exclusives are going to come from. But the exclusives aren’t just confined to the Marvel POP Vinyls line! We haven’t gotten many store exclusive Marvel Dorbz up until now, but that’s coming to an end: three new Gamestop Exclusive Dorbz are on the way: Glow-in-the-Dark Hulk, Reverse Deadpool and Civil War Vision… in a suit!

I’m building an entire Hot Toys Iron Man House Party Protocol of sixth scale figures, and when it’s complete, it will be the pinnacle of my toy collection. But while there are plenty of red and gold Iron Man figures that look “the same”, there are also some HPP armors that are wonderfully different. And today, I’m reviewing one of the “different” armors. The Sideshow Exclusive Hot Toys Gamma Iron Man Mark sixth scale figure is a little bit bigger and a whole lot more green than your typical Iron Man armor, and an absolute must for an Iron Man 3 collection…

Get ready for more fun times, Marvel Funko POP Vinyls collectors! Though the “official” release date isn’t until later this week, many Target stores have started to put out the Target exclusive Funko Battle Damaged Crossbones POP Vinyls figure!
He’s already getting gobbled up and selling for $20 on the aftermarket, so check your stores religiously if you don’t wanna pay an inflated price for this slightly-battered nefarious villain…

Hot Toys has been giving us a slow and steady rollout of their Captain America: Civil War movie figures for the last few months–so slowly, in fact, that I didn’t realize a half-dozen figures were up for pre-order already!
And today, Hot Toys is going to go ahead with lucky number seven and a figure never-before-shown: the Hot Toys Civil War Ant-Man figure goes up for order later today! Is this better than their original Ant-Man…?

We’re just one month away from the biggest Marvel event of 2016: the release of the Captain America Civil War movie in theaters! But before the film arrives in theaters, the April 2016 Marvel Collector Corps Civil War box will be arriving in our mailboxes! Funko has been unusually quiet as far as hints for the Civil War Collector Corps box go, so let’s round up the rumors and evidence regarding this month’s box…

While I knew that Black Panther making his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as part of this summer’s Captain America: Civil War movie was going to be a big deal, I was totally unprepared for the overwhelming hype and demand for Black Panther toys that has manifested over the last few months. Not only is the Marvel Legends Black Panther selling for hundreds on the aftermarket, but even his POP Vinyl has been a tough grab. In fact, I had to grab my Funko Black Panther POP Vinyl online: was be worth it?

Last week I marveled at the fact that the Bandai S.H. Figuarts Avengers Age of Ultron figure was actually going to be put up for sale this week. But there was an important detail that I missed: even overseas, Black Widow will be a Japanese Bandai Tamashii Web Shop Exclusive! As such, even though the import SH Figuarts Black Widow figure is now available for order, collectors are not gonna like her price-tag…

We’re still in the first quarter of 2016, but already Hasbro has given us some of the most-anticipated figures of the year, including Marvel Legends Venom, Spider-Gwen and Taskmaster. But in the flip side, some of the figures released thus far have been… “less” popular. Such is the case with the subject of today’s review. You can get the Spider-Man Marvel Legends Beetle female figure for below her retail price now online… should you?

2016 may be the year of Deadpool and Spider-Gwen merch, but there’s another character flying under the radar (no pun intended) and getting far more toys this year than he ever has before: Sam Wilson, the Falcon!
Many collectors regret skipping the 12″ Falcon Hot Toys figure released for Captain America: The Winter Soldier two years ago, but now they’ve got another chance: the Captain America Civil War Hot Toys Falcon is now available for order!

Fresh off of Hasbro releasing long-awaited official hi-res photos of the Giant-Man series yesterday, we’ve got our first good (totally unofficial) look at a trio of upcoming Marvel Legends exclusives! A scrapper has posted photos of a trio of upcoming exclusive Marvel Legends figures including a non-glam shot for the first time of the Marvel Legends Namor figure–and the Submariner has also brought along the first images of Civil War War Machine Mark III and Disco Iron Man!

And the hits keep right on coming on the Marvel Legends front! Hasbro showed off a number of exclusives to the press at the 2016 Toy Fair, but wouldn’t allow photography at that time. One of those exclusives was a comics-based three-pack including Marvel Legends Kate Bishop Hawkeye, Sam Wilson Captain America and All-New Vision. Well–surprise! That exclusive Marvel Legends 3-Pack has now appeared in a Hong Kong Toys R Us!

Things didn’t go as planned as far as secrecy goes with the soon-arriving Hasbro Marvel Legends Captain America Civil War figures wave. Images of both the figures and the top-secret Giant-Man Build-A-Figure leaked out long before they were meant to. But now Hasbro is finally ready to show all their cards, and has released official photos of the entire Marvel Legends Civil War wave!
UPDATE 3/23/2016: Some online retailers are now taking pre-orders for the Marvel Legends Giant-Man Series!

Well, there’s good news and bad news for Bandai SH Figuarts Marvel collectors.
The good news is that Bandai Japan has finally announced that a Black Widow Figuarts figure is actually coming out this fall. The bad news is that the Marvel S.H. Figuarts Black Widow figure won’t be in her updated Civil War costume–instead, we’re getting the prototype shown last year from Avengers: Age of Ultron…

By the time New York Toy Fair 2016 rolled around last month, it seemed that Funko had already shown off its entire range of Captain America: Civil War POP Vinyls, Dorbz, Mopeez and Mystery Minis.
But upon entering the Funko booth, my eyes immediately shot to an item that I instantly knew hadn’t been previously shown or announced anywhere else in the world: a rare Chase Dorbz Unmasked Black Panther figure!
