When it was announced that a Funko Captain America: Civil War Falcon POP Vinyl would be released as a Hot Topic exclusive, fans rejoiced… and simultaneously grumbled, as the Falcon was the only not-dead movie Avenger to not get the POP Vinyls treatment yet. I thought the timing of Mezco Toyz teasing their upcoming 1/12 Deadpool and Spider-Man figures this morning was a bit peculiar, what with none of the Marvel ONE:12 Collective figures for this year that we’ve preciously seen even being available for order yet. Of course, what I should have suspected is what turns out to be the case–those sneak peeks were to get us all hyped up to order this first figure in the line! And it worked on me–the ONE:12 Collective Captain America figure is now available for order!

As much faith as I have in most of Hasbro’s Marvel toy lines, if there’s one Hasbro Marvel action figure line I wouldn’t buy based solely off the official photos, it’s the Titan Hero Series. So even though the Civil War Titan Hero Falcon and War Machine figures went up for order online a few days ago, there was no way I was picking them up without seeing them in person. But to my delight, I saw both 12″ figures locally today–and they may be the best Titan Heroes ever!

One of the hands-down biggest surprises for me at last month’s New York Toy Fair 2016 was how much I liked the first two Marvel Legends Prop Replica role-play toys: the life-size Captain America’s Shield and Iron Man’s Helmet. Hasbro said at Toy Fair they’d use the pre-order sales to gauge of the line would be continuing. They must be happy with the sales, because they’ve not posted a Fan’s Choice Vote online for the next addition to the Marvel Legends Role-Play Items line!
