It’s been a while since I’ve made a post about new Funko POP Vinyls exclusives, but the king of exclusives is back at it again! And this time, we’re getting a “Superior Spider-Man” POP Vinyl and a trio of Rainbow Deadpool figures based off of the “Deadpool Mercs for Money”!
All four are going to be exclusive to Hot Topic (with the Deadpools available online Wednesday night 3/9), but are these variants all that they’re cracked up to be…?

While it seems I’ve (obviously) fallen a little bit short of my goal of completing my New York Toy Fair 2016 coverage before the end of February, I still want to finish discussing everything shown as quickly as possible. And to further that goal, I’m going to combine all of my many Diamond Select Toys Marvel Minimates photos into one giant preview article today, including new Minimates from Netflix Daredevil & Jessica Jones, Civil War, Giant-Size X-Men, Walgreens Series 2.5 and more!

Ever since the first four members of the Hot Toys Guardians of the Galaxy figures set were put up for order in 2014 (yes, 2014), fans have been waiting (im)patiently for Drax to complete the team. But despite intermittently being shown at events, Drax never came.
Many collectors had given up hope the GOTG would ever be complete. But doubt no longer: the Hot Toys Drax sixth scale figure is now up for order!

I was afraid of a lull in the action, but March 2016 is starting off hot for Marvel toy news! First, Hot Toys finally announced the impending pre-order for their Drax sixth scale figure. Then, packaged photos of the Marvel Legends Giant-Man wave hit. And now, the second wave of Marvel Legends 2016 4″ figures is up for order! Gamora, Rage, The Vision and more–this series is looking mighty fine!

The fact that Disney decided late in the game that they didn’t want toy manufacturers “spoiling” the fact that Ant-Man was going to turn into Giant-Man in the “Captain America Civil War” movie–after many companies had already nearly finished production on their Civil War toys–is causing all the sorts of problems that you might expect. Primarily, Civil War figures that should be arriving any day now at stores can’t even be put up for pre-order yet. But on ebay, some cases of the 6″ Marvel Legends Giant-Man Series have already been released, giving us our first look at packaged photos and the Giant-Man Build-A-Figure!

Disney Tsum Tsum continues to march on a surprising juggernaut in the toy collecting world, with the Tsum Tsum plush the clear headliner of each month’s new Disney Store releases. The Tsum Tsums have become so popular that there are now two Tsum Tsum Tuesdays occurring each month–and the second of these will be bringing us the third Marvel set on 3/15/2016: the Ultimate Spider-Man Tsum Tsum plushies featuring Miles Morales, Venom and more!

As we’re now barely over two months away from the release of this summer’s sure-to-be-epic Captain America: Civil War movie, the floodgates have finally started to open and the flood of Civil War toys is beginning to pour in. Among these items is the first officially-branded Captain America Marvel Legends item, which is now drizzling into stores–the Hasbro Marvel Legends Civil War Captain America with Motorcycle!

I heard rumblings a couple weeks ago during Toy Fair that the 2016 Marvel Legends Comic Packs two-packs had landed in the United States, and I’ve been in hot pursuit ever since.
Today, I finally tracked them down at retail–including the hotly-awaited Lady Thor and Sam Wilson Captain America action figures. But while there’s lots to love here, I know some collectors will be disappointed…

Look out, Kotobukiya–you’re about to have some stiff competition stateside from Diamond Select Toys! One of the displays I was most surprised to see at New York Toy Fair 2016 last week was a quartet of additions to the recently-announced line of DST Marvel Gallery Statues including Deadpool, Hulk and Spider-Man!
Beautifully sculpted and economically priced at under $45, this line has “winner” written all over it…

Hasbro’s Marvel Legends lines are so popular and under such intense scrutiny that it’s effectively impossible for new products to sneak out that no one’s expecting. Marvel Mashers…? Not so much. And that’s why, just a week after being taken aback by their debut at the New York Toy Fair 2016, I was totally floored to walk into Toys R Us and come face to the face with the entire first series of Marvel Mashers Micro figures…

At this point, we’ve seen high-quality photos released of virtually every major character in this year’s “Captain America: Civil War” movie. But there’s one character that’s been hard to spot, and he’s both the MCU’s smallest and largest superhero: Scott Lang, Ant-Man (and someone else). But thanks to Bandai Japan, we’ve got our best look yet at the Civil War Ant-Man costume–the Captain America Civil War SH Figuarts Ant-Man figure goes up for order March 1st!

Among their many, many skills, I think we can add “mind-reading” to Funko’s resume. Because they totally have to have mastered that ability and reached into my mind, as they’ve somehow chosen the exact three Marvel characters I would have picked for their newest line.
Debuting at New York Toy Fair 2016 last weekend: Funko POP Plush Spider-Gwen, Loki and Deadpool plushies!

With all of the excitement surrounding New York Toy Fair 2016, it totally slipped my mind that the Funko Marvel Collector Corps Deadpool box was arriving this week! But there it was this afternoon, just hanging out on my front step welcome mat! The Civil War Collector Corps Box is now up for order, but before that, let’s do a spoiler-filled unboxing and photo review of the Deadpool Collector Corps box!

A couple weeks back, I placed my pre-order for the Sideshow Gamora Exclusive Premium Format Statue, confident it would be the only high-end state ever made of the character in her comic costume.
Well, at New York Toy Fair 2016, Diamond Select Toys made a fool out of me, where they debuted not only a new Marvel Premiere Collection Jim Lee Rogue Statue–but a modern Gamora statue as well!

While Hasbro blew the minds of Marvel Legends 6″ figure collectors at New York Toy Fair 2016 and impressively debuted the Marvel Legends prop replicas and sixth scale figures at the event, there’s one branch of the brand that didn’t get such a grandiose treatment.
Although zero figures we hadn’t seen before were shown off for the Marvel Legends 4″ scale at Toy Fair, I still snapped a ton of photos of Gamora and some of the other upcoming figures…
