When the lineup for the first 2016 Marvel Legends Captain America series was revealed, I was dead certain that Mockingbird, Bobbi Morse, was destined to be the hottest figure in the wave. As things ended up, Taskmaster stole that honor and became the most sought-after figure in the assortment… but not by much! The Marvel Legends Mockingbird figure is selling for a couple bucks above MSRP right now on the aftermarket–and it’s because she’s worth it!

Usually I can fit the entire name of a product into the allowed number of characters for an article title, but such is not the case with this year’s single biggest LEGO Marvel Summer 2016 set: the LEGO Marvel Spider-Man Web Warriors Ultimate Bridge Battle 76057 (try saying that three times fast). I gained a new appreciation for the LEGO Doc Ock’s Tentacle Trap set at New York Toy Fair 2016, but even so, that set can’t even approach the sheer coolness of what is almost certainly my favorite LEGO Marvel set yet…

Just when I thought that I had covered all of the 6″ and larger Marvel Legends action figures that Hasbro had on display at New York Toy Fair 2016, I remembered that I hadn’t given my impressions of the new 12″ Marvel Legends on display at the event.
Not only did I get to see Iron Man and Captain America in person, but a Marvel Legends 12″ Spider-Man figure was announced and leaped into the showroom for photos…

For a long time, I legitimately thought I was the only adult collector out there keeping tabs on the Hasbro Marvel Titan Hero figure line.
But I learned last year that there’s actually a thriving fandom for the line, so while I was at the Hasbro showroom at New York Toy Fair 2016, I made sure to take some hi-res photos of Hasbro’s multi-tiered display of all this year’s 12″ Titan Hero figures–including Crossbones and more!

Although Hot Toys didn’t exhibit at the actual New York Toy Fair 2016, their presence was definitely felt in the collecting world over the last few days, as they officially announced their first pair of non-die cast Civil War Movie Masterpiece Series sixth scale figures. And hey, who better to kick off the line than the titular character himself? The AOU Captain America sold out quickly and skyrocketed on the aftermarket, but now you’ve got a chance at the updated costume: the Hot Toys Civil War Captain America 1/6 figure is now up for order!

We’ve known the lineup for the Diamond Select Toys Captain America: Civil War figures series for a couple months now, but DST was holding on to the Civil War figures (and their awesome 9″ Giant-Man/Ant-Man figure) for a grand debut at the 2016 Toy Fair International. And while all three characters have had Marvel Select versions before, I was totally impressed with the updated Civil War Iron Man, Captain America, and Winter Soldier–as well as the huge New Avengers Headquarters diorama backdrop that the three come with!

Alright, now this is just getting crazy. After the enormous number of 6″ Marvel Legends action figures I talked about in my 2016 Toy Fair Hasbro coverage yesterday, you might think that I’ve already talked about everything that Hasbro had to offer at the event. But you would be wrong–because there’s still a ton of exclusives! Hasbro finally confirmed the home of the Marvel Legends Namor figure they teased us with last year, as well as announcing exclusive Marvel Legends movie Falcon, Bucky, Agent 13 and more!

I probably could have happily slept for about ten more hours this morning, but instead I got up bright and early to brave the cold and check out one of my favorite longtime Marvel toy manufacturers: Diamond Select Toys! DST had a large variety of new items on display at the 2016 Toy Fair, but the one that I want to talk about first is one of the biggest: the Diamond Marvel Gallery Giant-Man (Ant-Man) figure statue!

There’s one more wave of Marvel Legends figures that technically was revealed at New York Toy Fair 2016 yesterday that I haven’t talked about yet. It’s a pretty loaded wave, but, well… unfortunately, the lineup leaked out several weeks ago.
Even so, I got to see the 2016 Marvel Legends Captain America Wave 2 Figures yesterday in all their glory, including Nuke, Nick Fury with Dirk Anger head, Civil War figures and more!

With the mind-boggling amount of new product that’s been revealed over the course of the last week, I didn’t quite get a chance to read about the new Hasbro Marvel Legends Premium Role-Playing Costume items when they were announced yesterday. But that was okay, because I got to see them for the first time today in-person at the Hasbro Press Event, where I got to see the 24″ life-size Captain America Shield Replica and the new electronic Iron Man Helmet that both just went up for sale in action!

Some computer listings leaked out the supposed lineup for the 2016 Marvel Legends Captain America Wave 3 figures earlier this month, but I was doubtful that we were close enough to the release of that series that the figures would be on display at the New York Toy Fair 2016 this weekend. And as expected, the whole series wasn’t on display. But–BUT!! Hasbro did give us a pretty fantastic treat, with a look at a pair of new figures from the wave–including the hotly-demanded Marvel Legends Scarlet Witch movie figure!

While Hasbro was only able to show off half of the Marvel Legends Doctor Strange series of figures (due to the movie characters making up part of the assortment), they made up for it in a big way by sharing half of the Marvel Legends 2016 Spider-Man Wave 2 figures as well! The big star of the show here is the new 6″ Marvel Legends Miles Morales Spider-Man figure, but he’s joined by a number of heavy-hitters, including Ultimate Spider-Man Peter Parker, a new Hobgoblin, Silk and more!

Word snuck out a month or so ago that Hasbro was planning a 2016 Marvel Legends Doctor Strange series to coincide with the movie’s release this fall, but Hasbro never confirmed that news or any action figure lineup–until today!
At the 2016 Toy Fair, Hasbro revealed part of the Doctor Strange Marvel Legends Series, including a repainted Dormammu Build-A-Figure, Nico Minoru and Iron Fist!

We’ve been wondering about the 2016 Marvel Legends X-Men wave ever since it was announced in mid-2015, but now we need wonder no more! At the New York Toy Fair 2016 Hasbro press event today, Hasbro finally revealed the seven figures making up this summer’s X-Men Legends wave–including Phoenix, Kitty Pryde, Iceman, Cable and more!

After LEGO, my very first stop at the 2016 New York Toy Fair this morning was to one of my favorite toy companies ever: Funko! While there were sadly no new Funko Marvel Hikari vinyls on display–my first love–I did get to have up-close looks at a handful of newly-revealed 2016 Funko Marvel POP Vinyls–including Spider-Gwen, Doctor Strange and Captain Marvel! But that’s not all–the catalog revealed concept art for Funko She-Hulk and more…
