Since Kotobukiya already showed off the official photos of Rogue and put her up for order earlier this week, I had my hopes high that we’d at least get to see an unpainted prototype of the last figure in the Kotobukiya X-Men ARTFX+ statue line at New York Toy Fair 2016 this weekend. Instead, the finished, painted prototype made its debut: the Kotobukiya Wolverine ARTFX+ Statue has now been revealed!

NECA has been teasing their 1/4 Marvel collectors with him for several years now, but finally, finally… NECA has a Hulk! And not just any Hulk, but a really, really big Hulk! Standing a full 24″ (two feet!) tall, it’s the biggest quarter-scale action figure NECA has ever made: the NECA 1/4 Hulk figure is now up for order and debuts in public at New York Toy Fair 2016 this weekend!

A lot of collectors were a wee bit annoyed when Hasbro renamed the Marvel Universe scale figures to 4″ “Marvel Legends” to kick off 2016, due to the confusion one name for multiple scales wold cause. Well, life is about to get a whole lot tougher for those folks, as Hasbro is announcing a new 12″ Mavel Legends scale this weekend as part of the New York Toy Fair 2015 festivities! And of course, the first to the party are everyone’s favorites: Captain America and Iron Man!

We’re less than two days away from all eyes in the toy collecting world turning toward New York City, where the New York Toy Fair 2016 will begin this Saturday, February 13th! But that’s two days from now, and there’s a pretty big event for us Marvel fans happening one day from now: the opening of the long-awaited and longer-rumored Deadpool movie! And what better way to celebrate it than with a chance to win a free Sideshow Deadpool sixth scale figure?! Want to know how? Read on…

The question I’ve gotten with more frequency during the first 42 days of 2016 has been, without a doubt, “When are we going to see the 2016 Marvel Legends X-Men Series figures revealed?”
My go-to answer to that question has been “New York Toy Fair 2016”, but Hasbro has thrown us a curveball tonight with a surprise pre-Toy Fair reveal: the immensely-anticipated new Marvel Legends Deadpool figure!

While the 2016 Toy Fair International won’t officially begin until this Saturday (2/13/2016), many companies are taking the opportunity this week to preview newly revealed toys in advance of the show.
Diamond Select Toys is one such company, and they’re countering the Bishoujo Spider-Gwen statue that went up earlier this week with a Gwen Stacy of their own: the Marvel Gallery Spider-Gwen figure debuts at New York Toy Fair 2016!

Before the ridiculousness of the overblown #WheresRey campaign, fans asked a less preposterous question: “Where’s Gamora?” Despite a fair number of Gamora figures released in several major lines in 2014, she legit did have less merch produced and appear on less GOTG paraphernalia than any other main character in the movie. But now Sideshow is giving Gamora a smidge of revenge: the Sideshow Exclusive Gamora Premium Format Figure statue is now up for order!

I’m committed to completing my review of the entire Captain America Marvel Legends Red Onslaught series before I leave for Toy Fair International 2016 in two days, and I’ve got two figures to talk about in that time. One is an almost 100% new tool that came close to totally blowing me away and is super hot on the aftermarket, and the other… isn’t.
Today I’ll be reviewing the latter: Marvel Legends Whirlwind is now available–should you order one?

My, how time flies! It feels like just yesterday, but it was actually almost exactly a year ago to the day that I was lamenting that Kotobukiya didn’t have a single one of their X-Men ARTFX+ statues on display at last year’s Toy Fair.
And now, as I get ready to leave for the New York Toy Fair 2016, the penultimate character in the line has been fully revealed: the Kotobukiya X-Men Rogue ARTFX+ Statue is now up for order!

When Kotobukiya had official photos to show over the weekend alongside the first public look at the painted prototype of their Bishoujo Spider-Gwen statue at Japan’s Winter Wonder Festival 2016, the writing was on the wall that the immensely-anticipated Gwen Stacy staue pre-order was imminent.
And as it turns out, we didn’t have long to wait for her: the Kotobukiya Spider-Gwen Bishoujo statue is now up for order!

I’m a firm believer in the idea that every character is somebody’s favorite and needs to be treated with respect–but if there’s one character Hasbro has ever produced a 6″ figure of that isn’t anyone’s favorite, it’s likely Cottonmouth. Even so, produce him Hasbro has, and the Marvel Legends Cottonmouth figure is now available! Is it worth expanding your Marvel villains roster with this obscure baddie? Read on for my review…

When you’re the biggest female breakout star Marvel has had in many years, you don’t have to wait long for your first statue to be released! This weekend at the 2016 Winter Wonder Festival, the Kotobukiya Spider-Gwen Bishoujo statue was fully revealed–including an unmasked Gwen Stacy head!
But Gwen’s not coming alone–Kotobukiya Bishoujo Loki (!!!) and Lady Thor statues were also announced at the event!

Before we get to the New York Toy Fair 2016 in less than a week (I’m so gonna get run over by a taxi cab), there was a little (huge) show in Japan this weekend called Winter WonderFest 2016 where loads of import Marvel figures were announced. There’s a lot to talk about, but let’s start with one of the cutest toy lines in existence: the Good Smile Company showed off Avengers: Age of Ultron Captain America, Iron Man and Deadpool Nendoroids figures! And they also brought a new Figma: Deadpool!

When the team lineups were announced for each side in this year’s “Captain America: Civil War” movie, there was one character who really stuck out as being a bit out of their depth: Agent 13. I had my worries that Hasbro might pass on making any merch of Agent 13 for the movie–but while we haven’t heard about a movie-styled version of her, a new comics-based Marvel Legends Sharon Carter figure is now available for order! Does this figure satiate my need for a new Sharon Carter toy? Read on…

Let there be absolutely no doubt about it: we are living in a golden age for Marvel figures and collectibles. And while the market has been starting to get a wee bit crowded over the past year or two, another company is about to enter the fray. At their pre-New York Toy Fair 2016 press event today, Mezco Toyz revealed the first seven figures that they’ll be releasing in their all-new mixed media Marvel One:12 Collective figures line: Captain America, Daredevil and the Punisher!
