“X-Men: Days of Future Past” may have just hit theaters a few days ago. There’s no release date yet for its DVD/Blu-Ray yet at all, nor any specs or bonus features listings available yet for the movie. But all that means nothing to Amazon, as they’re ready to move in and stake their claim to X-Men movie fans’ dollars! If you ever wanted to be Magneto– well, you still can’t. LEGO knows how to make money better than any other toy company on Earth, so even though their sole LEGO Marvel X-Men set wasn’t scheduled to be released until June/July 2014, there was no way that LEGO was going to miss out on the chance of moving the set more quickly by having it out in time for the release of the X-Men Days of Future Past movie debut. I spotted the LEGO X-Men vs. The Sentinel 76022 set unexpectedly last week before the movie premiered, but ended up not picking it up myself due to the outrageous amount of money LEGO and other Marvel licensees have already gotten from me this month. Luckily, it turns out that the set may actually be worth its price…

Things have been pretty quiet on the Marvel Kotobukiya statues front ever since they released the Avengers Hulk ARTFX+ statue that I reviewed last month.

But while we’re still waiting for the pre-order and painted prototype photos of the last statue in the ARTFX+ Avengers Now lineup (Iron Man), we’ve got something new to get excited about–the second (and in my opinion, best-looking) of the Kotobukiya Avengers has now been released: the Kotobukiya Black Widow ArtFX+ Statue is now in-stock and ready to be ordered!

Hasbro did a superb job this year of keeping their SDCC 2014 Marvel Legends exclusive set of 6″ figures under wraps until they were ready to grandly unveil it today. Their 3.75″ Marvel Infinite Series SDCC 2014 exclusive set…? Not so much. We’d seen some photos leak from Asia over the last few weeks, and I instantly guessed that we would be getting a Thanos-themed Marvel Universe exclusive set. And, as expected, that’s exactly what we’re getting–but it’s also coming with a really cool wearable, foam Infinity Gauntle! It’s the SDCC 2014 Marvel Infinity Gauntlet figures set!

The past two years Hasbro has revealed their exclusives on the third Wednesday of the month, but they threw us a curveball this year by holding out on us for one extra day. But the wait is at an end, and the exclusives are revealed–and this year, they’re all cosmic! Although Funko teased a whole series of Guardians of the Galaxy Mystery Minis vinyl figures last winter, we didn’t get to see a peek at them until the New York Toy Fair 2014–and that was only some concept art in the Funko 2014 catalog marked “Confidential”. Not wanting Funko to bust my head, I couldn’t share that artwork–but today, there’s nothing left to hide! Funko has fully-revealed the set, and the Funko Mystery Minis Guardians of the Galaxy set is now available for order!

If there’s one thing that we’ve learned to count on for each and every Marvel movie that gets released, it’s a corresponding series of Diamond Select Toys’ Marvel Minimates figures! Oftentimes the Minimates series may miss the premiere of the movie it’s tied into, but we’ve grown accustomed to getting movie Minimates without fail (eventually). Toys R Us used to almost always have their own remixed exclusive wave of movie Minimates, but they’ve cut way back in recent years. However, Toys R Us did invest in their own exclusive Amazing Spider-Man 2 Minimates series, and it has now arrived in stores!

The first three figures I’ve talked about in the Marvel Legends Guardians of the Galaxy Infinite Series have been mostly a mixed bag, and today’s figure will be more of the same. Though she’s been a staple of the Marvel cosmic universe for decades and a key member of teams like the Infinity Watch and the Guardians of the Galaxy, Gamora has never had a major figure release before (Minimates doesn’t count, sorry). But that’s all about to change, and Gamora is (hopefully) about to enter the upper-echelon of recognizable Marvel females! But, well… here is. To Hasbro’s credit, they did choose an Iron Man armor that’s strongly linked to the GOTG, however.
