WandaVision wrapped up on Disney+ at the beginning of March 2021, and Hot Toys was primed and ready to roll soon afterwards with pre-orders for their new WandaVision Vision and Scarlet Witch sixth scale figures. It seemed like that pair might be all we were getting from the hit MCU series when we didn’t hear anything else for four more months, but Hot Toys hit fans with a one-two punch last week when they not only showed off an improved Scarlet Witch portrait, but also debuted and put a White Vision sixth scale figure up for order as well!

But what did turn out to be pretty unexpected was that this isn’t a repaint at all–it’s an all-new, never-before-seen GamerVerse Miles Morales figure mold! Oftentimes, Hasbro successfully uses a Marvel Legends Build-A-Figure as a proverbial carrot to entice collectors into buying an entire series of figures to build an essential character such as the Kingpin or Sauron. The subject of today’s review… is not one of those characters. The Marvel Legends Super Villains series is bringing us some of the most fan-demanded villains in toy form from across the Marvel Universe, but the BAF is easily the most obscure character in the whole wave. Even so, the Marvel Legends Xemnu Build-A-Figure is still selling for about 80 bucks on the aftermarket. Is this super-articulated niche figure worth those lofty prices?
