Diamond Select Toys has produced quite a few iconic villains in their Marvel Select figures series over the past two decades-ish, but perhaps the one fans have been demanding is En Sabah Nur himself. But at SDCC 2022 this week, DST finally fully revealed the Big A—and more! Marvel Select Apocalypse, Gallery Doc Ock PVC, movie Iron Man and Animated Phoenix Busts are all up for order now!

X-Men Marvel Legends 2022 has been a little bit of a disappointment to me so far, as I felt like Siryn, Darwin and Sabretooth all missed the mark and earned average or below review scores. Hopefully today’s review subject will break that trend, though, as it’s another first-time-ever release. He’s the sometimes-Emperor of the Shi’ar and the third (or maybe fourth now) summers Brother: Marvel Legends Vulcan is now available! Is this Hasbro 6” figure as much of a powerhouse as the Omega-level mutant it represents?

Ever since word leaked out that all three iconic Spider-Man actors would be appearing in last year’s Spider-Man No Way Home movie, collectors have been waiting with bated breath for modern Marvel Legends figures of the movie Spidey trio. And today’s finally the day fans can lock in their own Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland 3-Pack: the Marvel Legends No Way Home Spider-Man 3-Pack is up for pre-order today!

We can expect Hasbro to unleash a multitude of new Marvel Legends announcements and reveals next week at SDCC 2022, but while we wait for even newer action figures to be unveiled in San Diego, I’ll continue with my reviews of what’s already been released this year. And today I’ll move on to the third figure in the X-Men Bonebreaker series that’s surprisingly underwhelmed me thus far: Marvel Legends Darwin! Is this adaptable mutant the fittest figure in this wave thus far?

Despite being a core member of the original X-Force team and Peter David’s X-Factor Investigations roster, with hundreds of appearances in Marvel comic books over the last 40 years, Siryn has never had a mass release action figure… until now. Theresa Cassidy’s time has finally come, but is the X-Men Marvel Legends Siryn figure that just started shipping the definitive hit collectors hoped for?

I read peoples’ Marvel legends wish lists virtually every day of my life, but one figure I can’t remember ever seeing requested in the last decade is an updated First Appearance/Classic Sabretooth figure. Even so, Classic Sabretooth is now shipping from the X-Men Bonebreaker Series, and collectors wanting to complete the Build-A-Figure will need to buy him. Does Hasbro one-up what Toybiz did way back in 2006? Here’s my review…

Thor Love and Thunder premieres in movie theaters next week, so I need to pick up the pace with the second half of my reviews for the corresponding Marvel Legends series that’s available now. Next up is the second Guardians of the Galaxy representative in the wave—the first Marvel Legends Star-Lord figure in half a decade! But those expecting a superior iteration to what’s come before may be disappointed…

It’s almost time to turn the page on another month on the 2022 calendar, which means it’s time again for a fresh batch of Marvel Diamond Select Toys solicitations! And this time out, there’s a spread containing classic and modern characters from a multitude of corners of the 616: a Legends in 3D Magneto bust, Animated She-Hulk statue, and Gallery Kraven & Daredevil Elektra PVC Figures are now up for order!

Hasbro has begun a new tradition this year of revealing some type of Marvel Legends news on the 20th of each month, be it an all-new figure announcement or just fresh images of something we’ve previously been shown. And their June 20th sneak peek just may be the best one yet: built on the body of the rare and astronomically expensive Build-A-Figure from half a decade ago, the exclusive Marvel Legends Apocalypse Retro figure is now up for order!

All-new figures will always be preferred by collectors to repacked ones (especially at today’s retail prices), but sometimes a refresh of an old figure hits the right notes such that fans don’t complain. Such is the case with the newly-released Thor Love and Thunder Marvel Legends Groot figure, which combines a lot of newness with a much-requested re-release of the 2018 Teen Groot…

It’s been quite a while since there was a new GameStop Exclusive Marvel Legends figure for fans to look forward to and/or fear missing out on. But that streak came to an end today, with an unexpected Marvel Legends Mister Negative & Inner Demon figures two-pack going up for order! Fans have been waiting for a 6″ Mr. Negative Legends figure for years–will this one satisfy their needs?

I’ve been collecting the Skottie Young inspired Marvel Animated statues since their inception over half a decade ago, so I figured it was high time I review one of the several dozen little buggers I have. And what better place to start than the recently-restocked Marvel Animated Logan statue, an X-Men Wolverine piece I wasn’t even sure I even needed myself…?

Sideshow Collectibles has been hitting a lot of home runs lately with their ongoing series of Marvel Premium Format Figure quarter-scale statues, although a majority of their recent offerings are new visits to previously-produced characters. Last week they launched what I think is another winner, although it’s also a character they already released a fantastic statue of just a few years ago: the 2022 Sideshow Captain Marvel Premium Format Figure is now up for order!

Say what you will about Natalie Portman’s performances in the Star Wars movies, but Padmé is one of my favorite female characters across all of Star Wars and one of my preferred actresses in general. So I was thrilled when Portman was cast as Jane Foster in the Thor movies, and elated to hear she’d be returning for Thor Love and Thunder. Somehow, Hasbro has never produced a Natalie Portman Jane Foster figure before in their 10+ years of producing MCU movie figures. But Portman’s time has come: Marvel Legends Mighty Thor is shipping now! Is this a worthy inaugural ML Natalie Portman?

The MCU iteration of Valkyrie is a drastic departure from the main Marvel comic book version representation of that same character, but I think this is an instance where the mainstream movie iteration makes a traditionally mildly successful character worlds more popular and marketable. As such, it seems appropriate that MCU Valkyrie will now surpass her comics self in ML editions, as the new (and pretty great) Thor: Love and Thunder Marvel Legends King Valkyrie figure is now shipping out to fans…
