Review Shuri Action Figure Marvel Legends Avengers Endgame Series

We’re down to a single digit number of days remaining in 2019, and since I’m not expecting too much more Marvel toy news before 2020 arrives (prove me wrong, collectibles companies!) I’ve lined up toy reviews for each day through the end of the year! And first up, it’s an appropriately long overdue review of a figure that came out long overdue following last year’s Black Panther movie! The Marvel Legends Shuri figure is 11 bucks shipped today—would she be 11 bucks well-spent for your collection…?

Review X-Men Marvel Legends Dazzler 2019 Six Inch Hasbro Figure

From Jubilee and Boom Boom to Beast and Gambit, Hasbro fulfilled a record number of X-Men collectors’ dreams in 2019. And I’ve got one more left to talk about–of a figure I’ve been wanting for 27 years! The X-Men Arcade Game hit arcades in 1992, featuring five of the most iconic team members ever… and Dazzler! Alison Blaire was my go-to character in that game, and I’ve wanted a good action figure of her in that 80s costume practically all my life. I happily paid full price for her this summer, but the Marvel Legends Vintage Dazzler figure is 10 bucks online today–should you get one?

Marvel Legends Forge Review

It’s another slow Marvel toy news day as we tick down the clock to the end of 2019, so let’s dip pack into the cache of figures needing reviews again! This time, let’s have a look at the final figure I needed to review from the X-Men Legends Caliban Series. Believe it or not, this Marvel Legends Forge figure (who’s available online now at a decent discount) isn’t Hasbro’s first attempt at the character—they did him themselves a decade ago in this same costume! Is the second time for the Maker the charm…?

Marvel Legends Gambit Review

Hasbro has been doling out fan service like never before to X-Men collectors over the course of 2019, including new versions of some of the most requested characters such as Beast, Jubilee, Dani Moonstar and Professor X. But perhaps the singular most exciting 6” X-Men Legends action figure of the year for most fans was an updated version of the Ragin’ Cajun himself! Hasbro double-packed the new Marvel Legends Gambit so he’d be readily and affordably available to everyone—but is this long-awaited Jim Lee Gambit 90s figure up to snuff?

Sideshow Wolverine Sixth Scale Figure Bone Claws

While Sideshow Collectibles’ Marvel sixth scale figures line got off to a rocky start with a 1/6 Deadpool that’s still available over half a decade after going up for sale (seriously), the figures that came after him sold much better—including the Brown Costume Wolverine that swiftly sold out and escalated in value on the aftermarket. Turns out demand for Logan wasn’t met, many collectors cried out for more, and here he is: the 1/6 Sideshow Wolverine Tiger Stripe figure is now up for order!

Web Shooting Iron Spider Armor Hot Toys Spider-Man GamerVerse Figure

The popular new joke this year between Hot Toys collectors is that Spider-Man is the new Iron Man, playing off the fact that we’re used to getting many 1/6 Iron Man armors per year and now we’re getting multiple new Spider-Man costumes instead (what with Tony Stark dead now in the MCU and all). But this time out–Spider-Man actually is a new Iron Man armor: the Hot Toys Iron Spider sixth scale figure is now up for order!
