Before closing the book on SDCC 2018 Marvel Legends coverage, there’s two more new figures that I need to talk about that didn’t logically fit with any of the other waves that have been discussed. The sheer volume and number of Hot Toys Iron Man sixth scale figures released has become a bit of a running jokes with Hot Toys collectors. At this point, I couldn’t even begin to tell you how many dozens have been released, or even how many of them I own (it’s a lot). But even so, there’s at least one Iron Man armor that collectors have been asking for an upgrade to nonstop for over half a decade. Avengers Infinity War merch is off to a hot start following the official launch over the weekend, with initial shipments of the Infinity War Marvel Legends selling out in many areas. But now, a new player is entering the Avengers 3 game domestically: the Bandai SH Figuarts Infinity War figures are now available for order in the U.S.! As usual, most are priced a bit expensive because of license restrictions, but the price on Thanos isn’t half bad…

One announcement that caught pretty much everyone off-guard during this winter’s 12 Days of Sideshow Collectibles event was the teaser of a new Black Widow Statue. That first image of Black Widow’s head left many fans (including me) praying for an EX. Turns out we’ve been double-blessed! When Hasbro released a non-classic Marvel Legends Black Knight figure in 2007, fans were thrilled to get a 6” Black Knight figure… but less thrilled with the costume choice. With Black Knight no longer having much of a presence in Marvel comic books, it wasn’t clear whether or not we’d see Dane Whitman ever get another day in the sun. But for their one new Marvel reveal at MCM London Comic-Con 2017 over the weekend, the Marvel Legends 2018 Black Knight figure joined the battlefield!

Up until now, Kaiyodo has delivered hit after hit in their Marvel Revoltech Ame-Comics line of 6” figures, with triumphs ranging from Venom to Magneto to Spider-Gwen. But every family has a black sheep, and the Revoltech Marvel series just may have found theirs.
