Hot Toys missed the target slightly with their first Hawkeye MMS, and while it was loaded with accessories, the long-sleeved AOU Hawkeye just isn’t an iconic version for the shelf. But the third time appears to be the charm, and it looks like the best is coming later this year: the Hot Toys Civil War Hawkeye is now up for order!
And, oh yeah–it comes with a mini Ant-Man riding an arrow! Best accessory ever…?

I went to bed early last night, got a good night’s sleep and got up bright and sunny this morning–because today was the day the last of the announced mass-release Funko Civil War POP Vinyls was finally scheduled to hit stores! But I quickly hit a snag this morning, when I discovered that all of my local Gamestops–who insisted they wouldn’t take reservations–had decided to reserve out all of their received Giant-Man POPs. Thankfully, my wife was sweet enough to zip over to the closest Gamestop to her job and nab me the last 6″ Funko Giant-Man POP Vinyl! Was the big-guy worth all the trouble?

When it was announced that a Funko Captain America: Civil War Falcon POP Vinyl would be released as a Hot Topic exclusive, fans rejoiced… and simultaneously grumbled, as the Falcon was the only not-dead movie Avenger to not get the POP Vinyls treatment yet. Well, Falcon finally hit stores within the past week, and while I might have been better off paying five bucks more to get him on the aftermarket, I dropped two hours round trip to hunt one down instead…

As much faith as I have in most of Hasbro’s Marvel toy lines, if there’s one Hasbro Marvel action figure line I wouldn’t buy based solely off the official photos, it’s the Titan Hero Series. So even though the Civil War Titan Hero Falcon and War Machine figures went up for order online a few days ago, there was no way I was picking them up without seeing them in person. But to my delight, I saw both 12″ figures locally today–and they may be the best Titan Heroes ever!

The fact that Disney decided late in the game that they didn’t want toy manufacturers “spoiling” the fact that Ant-Man was going to turn into Giant-Man in the “Captain America Civil War” movie–after many companies had already nearly finished production on their Civil War toys–is causing all the sorts of problems that you might expect. Primarily, Civil War figures that should be arriving any day now at stores can’t even be put up for pre-order yet. But on ebay, some cases of the 6″ Marvel Legends Giant-Man Series have already been released, giving us our first look at packaged photos and the Giant-Man Build-A-Figure!

At this point, we’ve seen high-quality photos released of virtually every major character in this year’s “Captain America: Civil War” movie. Although Hot Toys didn’t exhibit at the actual New York Toy Fair 2016, their presence was definitely felt in the collecting world over the last few days, as they officially announced their first pair of non-die cast Civil War Movie Masterpiece Series sixth scale figures. We’ve known the lineup for the Diamond Select Toys Captain America: Civil War figures series for a couple months now, but DST was holding on to the Civil War figures (and their awesome 9″ Giant-Man/Ant-Man figure) for a grand debut at the 2016 Toy Fair International. And while all three characters have had Marvel Select versions before, I was totally impressed with the updated Civil War Iron Man, Captain America, and Winter Soldier–as well as the huge New Avengers Headquarters diorama backdrop that the three come with!

After Funko announced close to two dozen Captain America: Civil War POP Vinyls and Dorbz less earlier this month, it seemed like Funko had played its full hand as far as their merchandise for the movie went. Considering the entire reason that the “Captain America Legends” line is returning this year in place of the popular “Avengers Legends” is the upcoming release of the “Captain America: Civil War” movie, I don’t think that any Hasbro Marvel Legends 6″ figure collector out there hasn’t been expecting the imminent announcement of Civil War 6″ figures. And while I thought Hasbro might make us wait till Toy Fair 2016 for that reveal, I was wrong: the Marvel Legends Civil War Black Panther, Captain America and Iron Man figures have now been revealed!
