Continuing to recap the cornucopia of new Avengers Infinity War toys and statues that have gone up for order this month, today I’m looking at one of the newer companies on my radar. Iron Studios has gone to the Avengers Infinity War well more than any other statue maker thus far with not one, not two, not three, not four, but FIVE new statues from the movie solicited in the past month: the Infinity War Iron Studios Captain America, Falcon, War Machine, Thor and Winter Soldier statues are all up for order now!

Hot Toys Marvel Movie Promo Figures have been some of the most limited and sought-after 1/6 figures in the the Movie Masterpiece Series, so it goes without saying that Hot Toys would want to release one of their best-selling variants for the biggest Marvel movie ever. And this time, they’ve even been nice enough to give us a heads-up comparison to the regular version: the EXCLUSIVE Hot Toys Infinity War Captain America Movie Promo figure is now up for order! If you want this, don’t sleep on it–this will likely sell out within 6-12 hours!
Continue Reading →It’s been a quiet week for Marvel toy news, so time to dip into my huge cache of 2018 Marvel Legends figures that still need reviews! Having reviewed the most in-demand figure of the series first (the Thanos Build-A-Figure), it seemed appropriate to go for the guaranteed shelf-warmer of the series with my second review. The Marvel Legends King Cobra figure is readily available online for MSRP—but what he lacks in star power, he makes up for in being sheerly awesome!

And for collectors who only wanted individual figures from Marvel Legends Avengers Infinity War Wave 1, the promised day has arrived: individual figures are now available online of all 7 figures in the wave for $19 each as of writing! Want your Songbird, Iron Spider, Taskmaster or Cap without getting stuck with a whole case? Now’s your time! Oh yeah, the Marvel Legends Ghost Rider and Black Widow Motorcycles? Those are online for MSRP as individuals with free shipping as well!
Continue Reading →I’m making a gargantuan effort this year to cut back on 1/4 statues as much as I possibly can, as prices keep getting higher, boxes keep getting bigger, and my storage space keeps getting smaller (as in, I have like none left). But Sideshow Collectibles is seemingly determined to foil me, as their Marvel pre-orders the past few months have all been pretty spectacular. And their latest piece just may be the best comic Cap ever: the Sideshow Exclusive Captain America Premium Format Figure is now up for order!

But regardless of which side you’re on, Sideshow Collectibles is rolling along with their 12 Days of Sideshow series of product reveals for 2018! And for the 7th Day of Sideshow, a new Premium Format Figure joins the previously announced Captain America and Black Widow: the Sideshow Miles Morales Spider-Man Statue!

That hit last month and have mostly been flying out of stores at full price? Well–PLOT TWIST! All five remaining figures are the Deal of the Day today, with $9-$11 each prices for 6″ Marvel Legends Black Widow, Spider-Man, Punisher and more! I wish I could say I waited, but, well… we all know I didn’t. Did you?

But every family has a black sheep, and the Revoltech Marvel series just may have found theirs. The Kaiyodo Revoltech Captain America figure is now up for order, although this Cap figure is drawing some criticism from collectors for being more beefcake than any Cap figure before him…

But just in case you might have thought Mezco had forgotten all about ol’ Classic Red Skull, think again! It turns out he’s a limited exclusive (as this one absolutely should be): the NYCC 2017 Exclusive ONE:12 Collective Red Skull figure is now up for order!

I genuinely expected that to be the case with the bizarre Manga Realization Captain America that they first showed off last October, which debuted and then disappeared. But surprises abound–almost a year after first being shown, the Bandai Samurai Captain America figure is now up for order!
Continue Reading →While we just completed one of the two biggest domestic collectibles events of the year last week (SDCC 2017, for those with short memories), one of Japan’s biggest shows of the year is taking place this weekend: Summer Wonder Fest (Wonder Festival) 2017! And even though there aren’t a ton of new Marvel toys displayed at the show, Kaiyodo has brought their ‘A’-game with two new 6″figures fans worldwide are gonna love: the Revoltech Magneto and Captain America figures have now been revealed!
Continue Reading →The once-mighty Hasbro Marvel Universe 3.75″ figures line (now under the “Marvel Legends” banner) has fallen on some tough times, with what feels like less and less figures hitting each year. But while output may have slowed, the party isn’t over yet! The latest series of Marvel Legends 4″ figures is now up for order, and is composed of figures revealed a full year at SDCC 2016 including Jewel, Age of Apocalypse Magneto and more!
