Remember last year, when the Walgreens Exclusive Marvel Legends Agent Venom figure was revealed at SDCC 2014, and then we had to wait what felt like eons for it to finally start arriving at retail stores…? Yeah–this isn’t gonna be like that. This year, Walgreens has their act together and is ready to strike while the iron is hot. After just debuting in the Hasbro showcase at SDCC 2015 one week ago, the exclusive Walgreens Ant-Man Marvel Legends figure has already begun hitting stores this week!

Let’s face facts: there are not a ton of marketable characters (as far as merch goes) in next month’s Ant-Man movie. When the third-biggest name in the movie is “Ant-thony the Ant”, you know you’ve got a problem. And so, I’ve been waiting patiently for the first of the inevitable Unmasked Ant-Man figures to be revealed. We’re now under a month until the arrival of the Ant-Man movie in theaters, and that means that the modest onslaught of Ant-Man merch is now beginning to pour into stores! Toys R Us stores decided to break street date and release the Marvel Legends Ant-Man Series into stores earlier this month, and the Funko POP Vinyls Ant-Man and Yellowjacket figures have also begun to hit retail. And now, what may be the coolest of the Ant-Man Funko products is arriving as well–the Hot Topic exclusive Funko Glow-in-the-Dark Ant-Man POP Vinyl is available online and in some stores!
