2020 is fast-approaching, and for Mezco ONE:12 Collective figure collectors, one of the first figures arriving in the new year will be the ONE:12 Collective Moon Knight figure that went up for sale back in the spring! But while fans have already had a good half year-plus wait for the classic all-white Moon Knight figure, Mezco Toyz gave a sneak peek this year with the convention exclusive modern Moon Knight variant figure! And while this is not the costume that most are familiar with, that doesn’t mean that it isn’t a total win for Mezco…

While Sideshow Collectibles’ Marvel sixth scale figures line got off to a rocky start with a 1/6 Deadpool that’s still available over half a decade after going up for sale (seriously), the figures that came after him sold much better—including the Brown Costume Wolverine that swiftly sold out and escalated in value on the aftermarket. Turns out demand for Logan wasn’t met, many collectors cried out for more, and here he is: the 1/6 Sideshow Wolverine Tiger Stripe figure is now up for order!

Do these have any advantages over the Hasbro Marvel Legends versions? Let’s take a look…
Continue Reading →Thought the Marvel Legends 2020 figure reveals were over until after the holidays…? Think again! Hasbro continued their world tour this weekend at the Germany Dortmund Comic-Con, where they revealed two new exclusives that cover somewhere between 2 and 6 characters depending on how you count! Not only is a Retro Storm in Black Costume 6″ figure now up for order, but Hasbro also revealed the widely-rumored Walgreens Exclusive Marvel Legends Stepford Cuckoos figure! The only question for Cuckoos fans is: how many will you need to be satisfied? One, 3 for the Three-In-One… or going all out with 5 for the Five-In-One?

But we found out that Hasbro’s current golden age of Marvel Legends would continue to deliver dreams in a huge way this fall, and the shared exclusive Marvel Legends Havok & Polaris two-pack is now (free) shipping! Were these 6” figures of 90s X-Factor’s power couple worth waiting two decades for?
Continue Reading →Amazon caught everyone off-guard when they began charging for and shipping out their exclusive Marvel Legends Alpha Flight figures box set ahead of the original December release date. I posted my unboxing photos and first impressions of the team last week, and now I’ve had some time to play around with them and really absorb what this ML Alpha Flight set has to offer (and also what it fails to offer). For those still on the fence, is this $100+ set worth scooping up? Here’s my review…
Continue Reading →I’ll be filling in as many blanks as possible in my 2019 Marvel Legends reviews over the course of the next month and a half, and but today I paused that track to do an unboxing that will eventually lead to six reviews in one later this week! It was a spectacular surprise when Hasbro solicited the exclusive Marvel Legends Alpha Flight figures set in late summer, and they have now actually shipped and arrived on doorsteps a few weeks earlier than planned! How’d the set turn out? Here’s my impressions…
Continue Reading →While companies look the other way and ignore early reactions to products far too often for many fans’ liking, this week we’ve seen two examples where feedback was heard and the art is a vast improvement as a result. The first example was the Sonic the Hedgehog movie, where Sonic at least looks like himself and not a monster now (even if the writing still doesn’t seem impeccable). The other—and actually relevant—instance is the latest Sideshow Collectibles statue: the J. Scott Campbell Spider-Man & Mary Jane maquette is now up for order!
Continue Reading →Just when many collectors had written off the possibility of any new Diamond Select Toys 7″ figures from the latest Spider-Man movie as “not happening”, one such figure quietly and accidentally slipped out into a few Disney Stores last week. And now it’s official—the Disney Exclusive Far From Home Spider-Man figure is up for order online! If you’ve ever dreamed of buying a Spidey action figure that came with a Union Jack flag, this is your time! And as it so happens, it’s also the last day to take 25% off on the Shop Disney website using code “DISNEYPAL”–don’t miss it!

But today I’m posting my review of another monster of size, price and presence who’s finally arrived at my place! Despite the expense, the Sideshow Juggernaut Exclusive statue is already long sold out, and the regular edition 1:4 Juggernaut maquette is likely to sell out quickly as well! Now that I’ve got him in-hand for a review and photos, was this behemoth worth the insane 1400+ smackers I paid for him…?
Continue Reading →UPDATE 10/24/2019: After being briefly available on Amazon and selling out in an hour yesterday, collectors who weren’t quick enough to secure the former convention exclusive have got another chance–the Marvel Legends Grey Hulk 80th Anniversary figure is back up for order online now! And this time, he’s not the only new exclusive on the block–for the first time ever in the US after being revealed during NYCC, the Marvel Legends Vintage Deadpool figure is up for order as well!
Continue Reading →Spooktacular may be over, but Sideshow Collectibles has one more major limited Marvel collectible to solicit this week! With the ultra-popular Scarlet Spider MMS now arriving in collectors’ hands, the time has come the next super-limited Spidey to launch: the exclusive Hot Toys Negative Suit Spider-Man figure is now up for order! And that’s not the only LE 1/6 variant HT had for fans this week–another crazy, Tron-like Iron Man armor went up for PO as well in the form of Neon Tech War Machine!
Continue Reading →While the biggest headline news of this last week of October 2019 is unquestionably the arrival of easy pre-orders for the first pair of Hasbro Marvel Legends 2020 figures, that doesn’t mean that other companies have been quietly idling! Sideshow in particular has been active this week with their Sideshow Spooktacular event, where they launched LE 150 Shadowland Daredevil and X-Force Psylocke statues that each sold out in an hour or so, and also launched a statue many have been waiting for: the Avengers Assemble Sideshow Exclusive Black Widow statue is now up for order!
Continue Reading →UPDATE 10/2/2019:
As expected, the Marvel Legends Punisher War Machine is now up for order online, as it turns out that he’s a regular Fan Channel Exclusive and not a Gamestop exclusive as some fans had speculated for whatever reason. Hopefully none of you fed the scalpers, because now you can buy this War Machine Punisher figure online all day long for MSRP!
