We knew–without question–that a Marvel Legends Lady Thor figure was on the way after Hasbro teased us with a photo of her at the 2017 Toy Fair. Although the kid-friendly, low-priced Marvel Titan Hero Series 12″ figures are not exactly the cup of tea of most adult collectors, the line has continued to prove successful, and Hasbro has really upped their game with recent electronic releases in the series (including last year’s awesome Civil War Falcon). When some retailers in the United States started receiving stock of Marvel Legends Guardians of the Galaxy Wave 2 cases last week, the writing was on the wall that Hasbro would allow online retailers to take pre-orders for the series soon. Initially I heard the rumor that pre-orders would open May 8th, but obviously that didn’t pan out. But hey, two days later is better than two months later, right? Even though Hasbro started shipping the 2017 Marvel Legends GOTG and Doctor Strange two-packs months ago, I’ve yet to see a single one of those 3 3/4″ packs in a brick-and-mortar store. So with that in mind, I was a bit dubious as to whether or not this year’s new Marvel Legends Spider-Man Homecoming two-packs would ever actually appear before me at a retail store, or if I’d have to go shopping online for them. We’ve been waiting over two a half years for this week to arrive (well, at least I have, I don’t know if you have), but the time has finally come: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits theaters later this week!
