Marvel Legends 2015 Spider-Man Series Revealed & Case Ratios!

While we got to see the full Avengers Marvel Legends 2015 figures series at San Diego Comic Con 2014 last July, Hasbro was only willing to give Spidey fans a teaser of what to expect from the Spider-Man Marvel Legends 2015 figures series, showing off only half the lineup.

I imagine Hasbro planned to make us wait a bit longer still for the big review, but once again news from Asia has swooped in with the scoop: the full Marvel Legends 2015 Spider-Man series with Daredevil has now been revealed!

Unfortunately, Hasbro hasn’t allowed retailers to open pre-orders yet for the series (and likely won’t until closer to the new year). That said, while you can’t order them just yet, thanks to a series of auctions listed by a Hong Kong scrapper, we can get our first look at some stolen/discarded factory samples of the Avengers Marvel Legends Infinite Series coming our way this winter!

I resisted this ludicrous concept as long as I could, but Hasbro sucked me in with some of my favorite characters. And, well… that’s it for the 2014 Marvel Legends figures. A couple weeks back I reviewed the 2014 X-Men Marvel Legends Cyclops figure. That 6″ Cyclops figure had its share of flaws and failed to impress me, but Hasbro had one other Cyclops figure lined up for this year: the previously-canceled Marvel Universe Astonishing Cyclops figure.

I had high enough hopes for this long-delayed 4″ figure that I didn’t mind ordering Cyclops online, but ultimately the Marvel Infinite Series Cyclops figure ended up disappointing me as well…

Such was the case with the unpackaged sample of the Marvel Legends Phoenix Five Cyclops figure that was posted earlier in the year, and even more so in the case of the latest Marvel Legends holy grail of all holy grails to make its appearance online: a packaged sample of the canceled Wolverine Marvel Legends Rogue figure has turned up for sale online! But if you want this Rogue prototype, you’re going to have to be prepared to shell out at least the cost of three or four Premium Format statues…

These are dark and troubling times indeed when I drop what I’m doing and race off to Target on a tip that new Marvel Super Hero Masher figures have been released, but such are the times we find ourselves in.

Online stores received the latest case of basic Mashers last month, but physical stores have been way behind and buried in unsellable Hawkeye figures. But finally, the new Marvel Mashers Iceman and Ghost Rider figures have begun hitting retail stores this week!

Ever since, I’ve started having a craving for more stylized, kid-friendly Marvel Mashers action figures, and as such I’ve been watching the Marvel Super Hero Mashers section at my local stores like a predatory hawk. While the Marvel Mashers Iceman and Ghost Rider I’ve been on the prowl for haven’t turned up locally yet, the newest wave of Electronic Superhero Mashers have arrived: the Marvel Mashers Iron Spider-Man and War Machine are now available for order online and in some stores!
