Even though the full lineup of single-packed 2020 Marvel Legends X-Men Age of Apocalypse figures has been known since last fall, Hasbro has kept a tight lid on the identity of the Sugar Man Build-A-Figure for months so that a grandiose reveal could occur… the night before Toy Fair 2020 on the Walmart website. Whoops!! But regardless, the time has come for Marvel Legends Age of Apocalypse pre-orders! Solo links for every figure are below:

Marvel Revoltech Cable Figure Revealed at Winter Wonderfest 2020!

Marvel Revoltech Cable Winter Wonder Festival 2020

When Kaiyido Revoltech solicited their first Marvel comics-based figure almost four years ago (Deadpool), I wondered if the market really had space for another expensive 6” Marvel figures series. The answer was clearly “yes”, as Kaiyodo has been expanding the range each year since, and has given us more X-Men characters than any other import line. And this year, Deadpool is getting a friend and the X-family will be growing further when the Revoltech Cable figure arrives!

Marvel Select Taskmaster & Premier Collection Archangel Up for Order!

Marvel Select Taskmaster and Premier Collection Archangel Statue

When Diamond Select Toys debuted their humongous Archangel statue at NYCC 2019 last October, I had my doubts they could keep it below the usual $199 Premier Collection price-point regardless of what the placard said at the event. And I was right, as Warren is actually priced at a surprising $399 MSRP! Thankfully, EE has the Marvel Premier Collection marked down a more $319 shipped for pre-orders. But that wasn’t the only surprise in the new solicits—a Marvel Select Taskmaster movie figure is also on the way!

REVIEW: X-Men Marvel Legends Dazzler Figure (2019 Vintage Series)

Review X-Men Marvel Legends Dazzler 2019 Six Inch Hasbro Figure

From Jubilee and Boom Boom to Beast and Gambit, Hasbro fulfilled a record number of X-Men collectors’ dreams in 2019. And I’ve got one more left to talk about–of a figure I’ve been wanting for 27 years! The X-Men Arcade Game hit arcades in 1992, featuring five of the most iconic team members ever… and Dazzler! Alison Blaire was my go-to character in that game, and I’ve wanted a good action figure of her in that 80s costume practically all my life. I happily paid full price for her this summer, but the Marvel Legends Vintage Dazzler figure is 10 bucks online today–should you get one?

Marvel Legends Forge Review

It’s another slow Marvel toy news day as we tick down the clock to the end of 2019, so let’s dip pack into the cache of figures needing reviews again! This time, let’s have a look at the final figure I needed to review from the X-Men Legends Caliban Series. Believe it or not, this Marvel Legends Forge figure (who’s available online now at a decent discount) isn’t Hasbro’s first attempt at the character—they did him themselves a decade ago in this same costume! Is the second time for the Maker the charm…?

Hasbro has been doling out fan service like never before to X-Men collectors over the course of 2019, including new versions of some of the most requested characters such as Beast, Jubilee, Dani Moonstar and Professor X. But perhaps the singular most exciting 6” X-Men Legends action figure of the year for most fans was an updated version of the Ragin’ Cajun himself! Sideshow Exclusive Wolverine Tiger Stripe Sixth Scale Figure Up for Order!

Sideshow Wolverine Sixth Scale Figure Bone Claws

While Sideshow Collectibles’ Marvel sixth scale figures line got off to a rocky start with a 1/6 Deadpool that’s still available over half a decade after going up for sale (seriously), the figures that came after him sold much better—including the Brown Costume Wolverine that swiftly sold out and escalated in value on the aftermarket. Turns out demand for Logan wasn’t met, many collectors cried out for more, and here he is: the 1/6 Sideshow Wolverine Tiger Stripe figure is now up for order!

But all is not lost for X-Men fans with smaller display areas (or smaller credit limits)! Iron Studios had a plan for those collectors as well, and after a few weeks of slowly rolling them out, affordably-priced Iron Studios Cyclops, Wolverine, Beast and Rogue statues are all up for order individually! If you can’t have these with the massive Sentinel diorama, are worth the investment?

Thought the Marvel Legends 2020 figure reveals were over until after the holidays…? Think again! Hasbro continued their world tour this weekend at the Germany Dortmund Comic-Con, where they revealed two new exclusives that cover somewhere between 2 and 6 characters depending on how you count! Not only is a Retro Storm in Black Costume 6″ figure now up for order, but Hasbro also revealed the widely-rumored Walgreens Exclusive Marvel Legends Stepford Cuckoos figure! The only question for Cuckoos fans is: how many will you need to be satisfied? One, 3 for the Three-In-One… or going all out with 5 for the Five-In-One?

X-Men Marvel Legends Iceman Figure Review & Photos (Vintage Series)

Marvel Legends Iceman Vintage Series Review

The bad news this week for much of the United States was that we got blasted with the most major winter storm so far this year and had to dig ourselves out. The good news is that I finally got snow for the first time this year in my neck of the woods (16” of it, to be exact!), which meant that at long last I could take a certain X-Men Legends 6” figure for outdoor review photos! The Marvel Legends Iceman Vintage series figure is already down to 13 bucks shipped just a few months after being released, but is this Bobby Drake figure really all that bad…?

X-Men Marvel Legends X-Factor Havok Polaris Review Fists

Peter David’s X-Factor run in the 90s is one of the touchstone comic book series of my childhood, but also featured a team roster I never dared dream we’d see released in full as action figures. But we found out that Hasbro’s current golden age of Marvel Legends would continue to deliver dreams in a huge way this fall, and the shared exclusive Marvel Legends Havok & Polaris two-pack is now (free) shipping! Were these 6” figures of 90s X-Factor’s power couple worth waiting two decades for?

REVIEW: Marvel Legends Alpha Flight Exclusive Figures Box Set

Marvel Legends Puck Figure Review

Amazon caught everyone off-guard when they began charging for and shipping out their exclusive Marvel Legends Alpha Flight figures box set ahead of the original December release date. I posted my unboxing photos and first impressions of the team last week, and now I’ve had some time to play around with them and really absorb what this ML Alpha Flight set has to offer (and also what it fails to offer). For those still on the fence, is this $100+ set worth scooping up? Here’s my review…
