Hasbro had some big announcements and reveals at their Pulse Con 2020 Marvel panel today, but the biggest of all (dimensionally-speaking, at least!) was the latest addition to their beloved 1:1 role-playing items line: the Marvel Legends Stormbreaker Life Size Replica is now up for order! Not only is this the largest Marvel Legends prop replica Hasbro has ever done, but it’s also the most expensive (other than the actual metal Captain America shield). Does Thor’s mighty axe from the Avengers movie look worth it?

Of all the 6” scale figures that Hasbro has coming our way in the Marvel Legends 2020 lineup, nothing made my eyes light up and etched a smile on my face as much as the New York Toy Fair 2020 reveal of the oversized Marvel Legends Nimrod figure. After waiting patiently for over half a year, the Amazon Exclusive Marvel Legends X-Men 3-Pack with Nimrod finally arrived this week—but did the ultimate Sentinel have any chance to match up to my sky-high expectations?
Continue Reading →Perhaps appropriately, the last figure in my series of X-Men Age of Apocalypse Marvel Legends reviews is also the one and only figure in the wave that Hasbro has previously done a 6” version of! While the original Hasbro AOA Sunfire figure used to sell for big bucks on the aftermarket, the new 2020 Marvel Legends Age of Apocalypse Sunfire is one of the few figures in the wave selling for at or above MSRP. Has Hasbro one-upped their earlier effort to deliver the best AOA Sunfire action figure ever?
Continue Reading →My 2020 Deadpool and X-Force Marvel Legends Strong Guy Series figures have started to arrive, so I’ve finally got the motivation I needed to finish off my reviews of the Age of Apocalypse series. Today I’m looking at a figure that I was hyped for the moment it was announced–but has ended up being the pegwarmer of the series! You can get X-Men Marvel Legends Morph for 15 bucks shipped online–is he worth snagging at that discounted price (even if just for the Sugar Man BAF piece)?
Continue Reading →When Hasbro announced another “Marvel Legends Fan First Friday Tuesday Edition”, my mind immediately raced to recall what figures we still hadn’t seen put up for pre-order at New York Toy Fair 2020 (which has sadly turned out to be the only major toy event of the year). Two figures remained—Venomized Miles Morales and Gwenom Spider-Gwen—so it’s no surprise those were part of the reveal: the 2020 Marvel Legends Venom Venompool Build-A-Figure Series of figures goes up for order today! With a mix of movie, GamerVerse, classic comic book and modern comics characters, this is definitely an eclectic wave…!

It’s been quite a while since my last Marvel Legends reviews, but I’m back and ready to wipe out the last three figures in this year’s X-Men Age of Apocalypse Legends wave! And first up will be the only double-packed figure in the wave. You can get the Marvel Legends AOA Weapon X Wolverine figure for about 15 bucks shipped now online—is he worth picking up at that 20% discount? Here’s my review of the alternate universe Best There Is At What He Does…
Continue Reading →Just when fans though it might be curtains as far as new reveals for the Marvel Legends X-Men 20th Anniversary series went, we’ve got another comic-based multi-pack to add to the lineup! Its existence has been heavily rumored for months now and even mistakenly revealed by major online retailers, but now it’s official: the X-Men Marvel Legends Rogue and Pyro two-pack is now up for order! While it’s not the Jim Lee Rogue re-release fans have been demanding, I think these figures will be popular nonetheless…
Continue Reading →Although I wasn’t exactly giddy regarding the lineup of the 2020 Marvel Legends Avengers GamerVerse figures series, four of the six figures with Abomination Build-A-Figure parts were comics-based and thus must-buys for me, so I decided to go for broke and ended up buying GamerVerse Iron Man and Ms. Marvel to complete the Build-A-Figure. The Marvel Legends GamerVerse Abomination BAF is selling for 60 bucks by his lonesome on eBay—but is he worth building or buying outright at all?
Continue Reading →San Diego Comic Con 2020 (At Home) may have come for an end, but we’re still going to have convention exclusives to look forward to for months to come! Last week, Hasbro revealed what would have been their SDCC 2020 Exclusives—but will now be sold online this fall as “Convention Exclusives” instead. Coming to Hasbro Pulse in September: the Marvel Legends Hellfire Box Set and Marvel Legends Logan Movie Two-Pack of Wolverine and Professor X!
Continue Reading →While we’ve had a veritable deluge of Hasbro Marvel Legends figures that have come our way this year, there’s one figure that I’ve been excited about above all others: the long-awaited X-Men Legends Nimrod figure with both classic and Jonathan Hickman heads! And 5+ months after his big reveal, he’s finally up for grabs: the AMAZON EXCLUSIVE Marvel Legends Nimrod, Psylocke and Fantomex figures set is now up for order!
Continue Reading →While last week’s Hasbro solicitations were rightly focused on the 20th Anniversary of the original X-Men live-action movie, as soon as those figures went live for pre-orders fans were asking when we’d be seeing the Deadpool movie figures that were unveiled at February’s New York Toy Fair 2020. But the time is now here—and Wade isn’t alone! The Marvel Legends Deadpool movie figures and Old Man Logan/Hawkeye two/pack are now up for order:

This year’s sole wave of Avengers Legends is a real anomaly in the modern era of Hasbro Marvel Legends in that, well… I don’t particularly want half the figures in the wave (including the Build-A-Figure!). Maybe I’ll turn around completely once the Square-Enix Avengers video game hits, but for the moment, this GamerVerse Marvel Legends Abomination Series is leaving me cold. Luckily, half the wave is composed of comic book characters, including the subject of today’s review: is it worth following The Leader Marvel Legends figure all the way to checkout?
Continue Reading →San Diego Comic-Con 2020 may not be occurring next week as original scheduled, but many toy companies and retailers are rolling out exclusives of their own this month—physical convention or no! And part of this initiative is Walmart Collector Con, which kicked off today with a huge variety of exclusive toys up for order—including the Walmart Exclusive Marvel Legends Movie Cable & Venomized Captain America figures that debuted at New York Toy Fair 2020!
Continue Reading →Time flies, and the proof is that somehow today is already the 20th Anniversary of the original live-action X-Men movie! Not a company to let such a momentous day go by without celebration, Hasbro has officially launched a quartet of figures we first saw debuted at the 2020 New York Toy Fair: Marvel Legends X-Men Movie Mystique, Wolverine, Magneto and Professor X are now up for order!
And for those who prefer to order their figures through Amazon, here’s the direct links:

UPDATE 7/12/2020: The Haslab Marvel Legends Sentinel project keeps steamrolling ahead like no Haslab project before it! Just two days after launching, 8000+ backers have already signed up and the second tier of “stretch goals” has now been unlocked: an alternate battle-damaged Sentinel head and hand that will be included as additional interchangeable parts when the figures ship out next year! Who’s psyched about these new options, and what are you hoping for at the 9000+ unlock?
