Last month, Mezco took the Marvel collecting world by storm when they debuted the first three characters in their Marvel ONE:12 Collective figures line: Captain America, Daredevil and Punisher! Having seen those figures in-person at Toy Fair, they just may have stolen the show. And though it’ll be months before those figures arrive in our hands, Mezco is at it again with sneak peeks of the Mezco Deadpool, Red Skull and Spider-Man ONE:12 Collective figures!

As much faith as I have in most of Hasbro’s Marvel toy lines, if there’s one Hasbro Marvel action figure line I wouldn’t buy based solely off the official photos, it’s the Titan Hero Series. So even though the Civil War Titan Hero Falcon and War Machine figures went up for order online a few days ago, there was no way I was picking them up without seeing them in person. But to my delight, I saw both 12″ figures locally today–and they may be the best Titan Heroes ever!

The Tsum Tsums have become so popular that there are now two Tsum Tsum Tuesdays occurring each month–and the second of these will be bringing us the third Marvel set on 3/15/2016: the Ultimate Spider-Man Tsum Tsum plushies featuring Miles Morales, Venom and more!

Not so much. And that’s why, just a week after being taken aback by their debut at the New York Toy Fair 2016, I was totally floored to walk into Toys R Us and come face to the face with the entire first series of Marvel Mashers Micro figures…
Continue Reading →At this point, we’ve seen high-quality photos released of virtually every major character in this year’s “Captain America: Civil War” movie. But there’s one character that’s been hard to spot, and he’s both the MCU’s smallest and largest superhero: Scott Lang, Ant-Man (and someone else). But thanks to Bandai Japan, we’ve got our best look yet at the Civil War Ant-Man costume–the Captain America Civil War SH Figuarts Ant-Man figure goes up for order March 1st!
Continue Reading →Usually I can fit the entire name of a product into the allowed number of characters for an article title, but such is not the case with this year’s single biggest LEGO Marvel Summer 2016 set: the LEGO Marvel Spider-Man Web Warriors Ultimate Bridge Battle 76057 (try saying that three times fast). I gained a new appreciation for the LEGO Doc Ock’s Tentacle Trap set at New York Toy Fair 2016, but even so, that set can’t even approach the sheer coolness of what is almost certainly my favorite LEGO Marvel set yet…
Continue Reading →For a long time, I legitimately thought I was the only adult collector out there keeping tabs on the Hasbro Marvel Titan Hero figure line.
But I learned last year that there’s actually a thriving fandom for the line, so while I was at the Hasbro showroom at New York Toy Fair 2016, I made sure to take some hi-res photos of Hasbro’s multi-tiered display of all this year’s 12″ Titan Hero figures–including Crossbones and more!
Continue Reading →NECA has been teasing their 1/4 Marvel collectors with him for several years now, but finally, finally… NECA has a Hulk! And not just any Hulk, but a really, really big Hulk! Standing a full 24″ (two feet!) tall, it’s the biggest quarter-scale action figure NECA has ever made: the NECA 1/4 Hulk figure is now up for order and debuts in public at New York Toy Fair 2016 this weekend!
Continue Reading →While the 2016 Toy Fair International won’t officially begin until this Saturday (2/13/2016), many companies are taking the opportunity this week to preview newly revealed toys in advance of the show.
Diamond Select Toys is one such company, and they’re countering the Bishoujo Spider-Gwen statue that went up earlier this week with a Gwen Stacy of their own: the Marvel Gallery Spider-Gwen figure debuts at New York Toy Fair 2016!
Continue Reading →Before we get to the New York Toy Fair 2016 in less than a week (I’m so gonna get run over by a taxi cab), there was a little (huge) show in Japan this weekend called Winter WonderFest 2016 where loads of import Marvel figures were announced. There’s a lot to talk about, but let’s start with one of the cutest toy lines in existence: the Good Smile Company showed off Avengers: Age of Ultron Captain America, Iron Man and Deadpool Nendoroids figures! And they also brought a new Figma: Deadpool!
Continue Reading →Let there be absolutely no doubt about it: we are living in a golden age for Marvel figures and collectibles. And while the market has been starting to get a wee bit crowded over the past year or two, another company is about to enter the fray. At their pre-New York Toy Fair 2016 press event today, Mezco Toyz revealed the first seven figures that they’ll be releasing in their all-new mixed media Marvel One:12 Collective figures line: Captain America, Daredevil and the Punisher!

But some traditions are made to be broken, and at the Nuremberg Toy Fair 2016, TLG is allowing photography of three out of the four summer 2016 LEGO Marvel sets for the very first time! It looks like it’ll be at least a few weeks before we see the Doctor Strange set, but the Spider-Man sets (including Scorpion, Spider-Woman, Kraven, Vulture, Scarlet Spider and more!) are looking mighty fine…
Continue Reading →While most of the merchandising companies out there manufacturing Marvel movie collectibles are now looking ahead to the future and “Captain America: Civil War”, I was taken aback a little bit this week when I saw that Medicom is actually looking backwards by soliciting an “Avengers: Age of Ultron” figure that’s arriving a wee bit late: the MAFEX Iron Man Mark 45 goes up for order this week! This figure really does look terrific and has a couple neat things in his favor, but he’s also late to the show and carrying a heavy price-tag…
Continue Reading →We’re now less than three weeks away from the biggest United States toy event of the year: the New York Toy Fair 2016!
And while we’ll get to see and take photos of the Summer 2016 LEGO Marvel sets there for the very first time in the U.S., those in the UK already got see the sets debut these weekend–including the first-ever LEGO Doctor Strange, Ghost Rider, Aunt May, Hobgoblin and more!
Continue Reading →Now that the non-movie based LEGO Marvel sets for the winter have had a chance to appear, it’s time to look forward to the trio of sets that will round out the Winter 2016 wave from “Captain America: Civil War”! While there are only three new characters present in these sets, TLG has split them up. And if you want the supposed main antagonist, Crossbones, there’s only one place to get him: the LEGO Crossbones’ Hazard Heist 76050 set!
