Hasbro struck gold last week with a quartet of reissues of previous best-selling Marvel Legends figures plus one minor updated release, so this week they’re looking to double their fun with another reissue quartet and a two-pack of repaints! Up for order this week from Hasbro, it’s repainted GamerVerse Sentinels and re-releases of Marvel Legends Giant-Man & Wasp, Power Princess, Warbird and Obsidian Silver Surfer!

Nimrod was created by Chris Claremont in the 1980s to be the pinnacle of mutant-hunting Sentinels combatting the X-Men. The deadly robot largely fell out of notoriety in the following decades, until his featured role in Jonathan Hickman’s X-Men in 2019 reignited his popularity and earned (modern) Nimrod his first-ever Marvel Legends figure (as part of a 3-pack). While every release in the Marvel Legends Maximum line of figures so far has had its naysayers, I think Maximum Deadpool received the chilliest reception at reveal. With so many Deadpool Legends already in circulation, could the Deadpool Maximum really offer enough to warrant the 50 bucks it costs? Jubilee has traditionally been among the last of the Jim Lee/X-Men 92 core characters to get representation in most collectibles lines ever, so I’m very glad to get a new 6” figure of her in Hasbro’s X-Men 97 lineup just one year into the line (and even before Beast). Inhumans fans have had a very rough time over the years. Failed comic book series after failed TV series after canceled movie after failed comic book series, the Inhumans just never seem to quite connect with fans for any meaningful amount of time. Even their toy history is spotty, with no company ever completing the core Royal Family in action figure form—until now! Hasbro is doing the impossible this year, completing the Inhumans with two Marvel Legends Inhumans two-packs now up for order, including Gorgon, Triton, Black Bolt and Medusa!
