While 7 figures launched today to kick off Hasbro’s Avengers Doomsday Marvel Legends figures lineup, only a half-dozen of those 7 are going to mass retail. The 7th and final figure available to order before the fall turns out to be a store exclusive to the largest internet retailer on Earth, and they’ve now opened up the floodgates themselves: the Amazon EXCLUSIVE Marvel Legends Doomsday Magneto Movie Figure is now up for order while it lasts! Hasbro has previously released a movie Ian McKellen Magneto action figure over half a decade ago, but this is his first MCU release. Is this figure worth getting excited about? Let’s have a look…

Magneto is one of 3 X-Men in the first wave of Avengers Doomsday Legends figures, with the other two being Cyclops and Gambit. Mystique, Beast and Nightcrawler have all been heavily rumored for the next wave to be announced, so the X-pantheon is growing fast. If there have been any rumors about a new Professor X figure for this movie, I haven’t heard them yet myself.
Magneto will feature a cloth cape for the first time in Hasbro Marvel Legends, with red on the inside and black on the outside. Cloth capes are quite rare from Hasbro for this line, so this is a bit of a treat.

No magnetic energy effects come with this figure, unfortunately, but at least we get some swap-out hands. They feel like the bare minimum, but I’m still glad to get them over nothing so that Magneto can do gestures with his hands rather than just punch at the enemy.

The Avengers Doomsday Marvel Legends Magneto Amazon Exclusive figure is now up for order and is scheduled to ship on October 1st, 2027. This will almost certainly be the most difficult figue to pick up from the first wave, so reserve one now if you’re wanting this Magnus.
