With McFarlane Toys being the primary producer of DC Comics figures these days, it definitely came as a bit of a shock when it was announced a few months back that McFarlane Toys Marvel figures were on the way as well! Fully revealed this week, McFarlane Marvel pre-posed 1/6 and 1/10 figures are now up for order! Let’s have a peek and see what this new line is all about…

It’s that time of the month once again: as per usual, Diamond Select Toys has several all-new Marvel collectibles they’re debuting and immediately opening for pre-orders. There’s no Marvel Select or Marvel Gallery figure this month (a rarity), but we do get an all-new trio of resin sculptures: the Marvel Animated Deadpool Jumping statue and Moon Knight/Iron Spider mini busts are now up for order!
Continue Reading →Speculation has run wild over the past weeks as fans made their guesses as to what this year’s San Diego Comic Con Marvel Legends exclusive would be—but when Hasbro finally dropped the curtain this week, it turned out that the item was something I hadn’t heard a single collector guess. Launching next week and available online after the show, it’s the SDCC 2023 Marvel legends Deadpool & Bob Agent of Hydra figures two-pack! Does this surprise pick get you psyched up, Marvel collectors?
Continue Reading →Deadpool was actually the very first character I ever bought a full-body resin statue for, way back in 2005 (from Bowen Designs). So you could say I was a Deadpool-collecting fanboy before Deadpool was cool—or at least since before he was gratuitously merchandised. As such, I was primed and ready to buy whatever Deadpool Iron Studios put out as soon as they announced it was on the way. Deadpool turns out to be one of the most expensive entries in the whole X-Men BDS statues lineup… but that doesn’t mean he’s necessarily one of the best…
Continue Reading →Although there were few New York Comic Con exclusives this year—perhaps because no one was certain if there would be an event at all, given the long-lasting global pandemic—there was at least one cool Marvel exclusive collectible in honor of the show: a limited-edition X-Force Deadpool variant bust by Diamond Select Toys. But displaying and taking orders for that Deadpool wasn’t the only treat Diamond had for fans—they also revealed concept art for a long-demanded Marvel Select action figure: Apocalypse!
Continue Reading →Yesterday had the distinction of being not just one, but two, not-quite-real holidays: April Fool’s Day and Deadpool Day! And as unlikely as it seems, Hasbro chose to celebrate this pair of holidays with a pair of very unexpected pre-orders: Spider-Man Retro Marvel Legends Web-Man and a reissue of 80th Anniversary Deadpool are now up for order! These standalone releases won’t be for every fan (for different reasons), but some are gonna love them…
Continue Reading →While the big hype coming out of today’s final Marvel Fan First Friday of 2020 is unquestionably pre-orders opening up for the 2021 Marvel Legends X-Men House of X Series, that doesn’t mean Hasbro didn’t have plenty of other goodness to show off during the stream! In addition to the the full reveal and pre-orders opening up for the amazing new Marvel Legends MODOK figure and an Exclusive Dusty Deadpool movie figure, we also got news on a new classic Ultron, Cannonball (with legs!!), Fallen One Silver Surfer with Mjolnir and more!
Continue Reading →We are living in an unprecedented era of Hasbro giving us a deeper cut of Marvel characters as action figures than has ever been seen before. As such, not every character will be to every fan’s liking. That’s how I felt about today’s review subject. While you have to buy the whole 2020 Marvel Legends Venom series to build the Venompool Build-A-Figure, I was hellbent on hating this BAF. But once I got him assembled, well… I felt a little different…
Continue Reading →Peter David’s X-Factor 90s run might be the first X-Men spin-off comic book series that I ever truly loved, so to say Hasbro got my attention when they started building this roster in super-articulated form would be an understatement. I was skeptical the team would come to fruition, but with Guido’s arrival this summer, 90s X-Factor is (more ore less) complete! You’ll have to buy every figure in this year’s Marvel Legends X-Force/Deadpool wave to build the Strong Guy Build-A-Figure: is he worth it?
Continue Reading →When Hasbro announced another “Marvel Legends Fan First Friday Tuesday Edition”, my mind immediately raced to recall what figures we still hadn’t seen put up for pre-order at New York Toy Fair 2020 (which has sadly turned out to be the only major toy event of the year). Two figures remained—Venomized Miles Morales and Gwenom Spider-Gwen—so it’s no surprise those were part of the reveal: the 2020 Marvel Legends Venom Venompool Build-A-Figure Series of figures goes up for order today! With a mix of movie, GamerVerse, classic comic book and modern comics characters, this is definitely an eclectic wave…!

Hot Toys is waging an all-out assault on Marvel collectors’ wallets this week like never before (and that is saying a lot)! Not content with the four Marvel 2020 Toy Fair/Comic Con Exclusives, they suddenly solicited an unexpected trio of Marvel movie sixth scale figures overnight—the Hot Toys Zombie Iron Man, Cable and Mech Test Tony Stark 2.0 are all now up for order! For Marvel Hot Toys collectors, this is truly one of the craziest weeks ever…!

But the time is now here—and Wade isn’t alone! The Marvel Legends Deadpool movie figures and Old Man Logan/Hawkeye two/pack are now up for order:

San Diego Comic-Con 2020 may not be occurring next week as original scheduled, but many toy companies and retailers are rolling out exclusives of their own this month—physical convention or no! And part of this initiative is Walmart Collector Con, which kicked off today with a huge variety of exclusive toys up for order—including the Walmart Exclusive Marvel Legends Movie Cable & Venomized Captain America figures that debuted at New York Toy Fair 2020!
Continue Reading →San Diego Comic-Con May have been cancelled quite a while ago now, but that doesn’t mean that companies planning SDCC 2020 Exclusives have suddenly thrown all their hard work preparing special products for the show out the window! Instead, we’re seeing quite a few companies move this year’s convention exclusives to an online distribution method—including Diamond Select Toys. And their first Marvel SDCC 2020 Exclusives are now up for order: Marvel Gallery Negative Suit Spider-Man and a Zombie Deadpool Bust!
Continue Reading →It was only a week and a half ago that Hasbro dropped a double-digit number of new pre-orders on us with the Spider-Man Retro Series and more, but already they’re prepped and ready to roll with a fresh round of solicits: the 2020 Marvel Legends Deadpool & X-Force Strong Guy Series is now up for order! We’ve been seeing dribbles of this wave revealed since Sunspot and Warpath at NYCC 2019, but finally the whole assortment has been revealed, including Shiklah and… Pirate Deadpool?!
