Of the hundreds of new products that I saw at the 2014 Toy Fair International, the most enigmatic one turned out to be one of the smallest. Within a couple seconds of walking into the Funko booth, I saw a couple orange Deadpool Mystery Minis variants on display. Marvel Super Hero Mashers definitely are not my favorite action figure line of 2014. In general, they’re a bit too “kiddie” for me, and I wasn’t totally in love with the character selection for the first series. That said, Hasbro may have won me over–just a little bit–with their Toy Fair 2014 Marvel Super Hero Mashers Series 3 reveals. As if Hasbro went into my brain and pulled out four characters that would be ideal lures for me, at last week’s New York Toy Fair 2014 Hasbro debuted the Marvel Mashers Deadpool, Iceman, Red Hulk and Ghost Rider figures!

Toy Fair 2014: Funko Marvel Fabrikations Deadpool Plush!

The 2014 New York Toy Fair won’t officially begin until tomorrow (though there’s lots of cool Hasbro news still to come today), but Funko has decided to get fans psyched up a day early by previewing one of their big news line: Funko Fabrikations 6″ plush toys. This is relevant because the line will include Marvel characters, beginning with the Funko Fabrikations Deadpool plush that is now up for pre-order and shipping in spring 2014!

If you read my blogs regularly, you know I’m majorly obsessive compulsive–especially when it comes to toys. It’s for that reason that I don’t buy a lot of Marvel Funko POP! Vinyls, even though I love vinyl figures and the designs that Funko comes up with. The paint apps quality control on Funko POP! Vinyls can be very hit or miss, so rather than make myself nuts, I’ll often stay away from characters I can pass on. This Inverse Deadpool Exclusive, however, was not a figure I could easily skip.
