What with how Hasbro has to-date only revealed two of the six figures in the 2016 Marvel Legends Captain America Wave 3 officially, it’s no surprise they haven’t shown off the Marvel Legends Abomination Build-A-Figure yet at all. Even so, this wave is now hitting overseas and finding its way into collectors’ hands–which means that we’re now getting our first good look at the figures in the series out of their packaging and the completed Abomination figure…

Hasbro has seemingly entered a strange and terrifying new era this year wherein literally the first time we’ve seen numerous new Marvel Legends 6″ figures is when they’ve already been released overseas and packaged photos have leaked out. Such is the case with the Marvel Legends Civil War Wave 3 photos that popped up online today, which not only let us see some characters for the first time–it confirms characters like Marvel Legends Wonder Man and Eel we weren’t even sure were coming!

Having grossed over a billion dollars at the worldwide box office thus far, it’s easy to assert that Captain America: Civil War has been the blockbuster success it was intended to be. What hasn’t been so easy, however, is finding collector-level Civil War toys in retail stores thus far. But while the Marvel Legends 6″ figures are still few and far between at retail, at least some new movie toys are making it out: the Toys R Us exclusive Marvel Legends 2-Packs containing Black Panther, Agent 13, and comic-based Iron Man and Captain America have now been released!

Hasbro has managed to hide this year’s San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Marvel Legends 6″ set for far longer than ever before, and also longer than most any other company’s SDCC exclusives. But the waiting and wondering may now be over, as photos have now leaked online revealing what is likely the SDCC 2016 Marvel Legends exclusive set, featuring Enchantress, Dreadknight, Purple Man and more!

While most toy and collectible companies have started to go quiet, storing up their secrets for next month’s San Diego Comic-Con 2016, we’ve still got a steady influx of Hasbro Marvel Legends figures news to talk about! And today, photos … Continue Reading →
As is becoming the trend with Hasbro Marvel Legends 6″ figures in 2016, the last figure that we hadn’t seen yet (and which Hasbro still hasn’t officially announced at all) is the Build-A-Figure of the Marvel Legends Spider-Man 2016 Wave 2 set: Space Knight Venom. We’ve seen photos of the broken-up pieces of Space Venom before in packaged photos, but today photos cropped up online for the very first time showing us the completed Marvel Legends Space Venom Build-A-Figure, along with size and scale comparison photos to the rest of the wave!

Well here’s a strange turn of events! Although the 6″ Marvel Legends Spider-Man Space Venom Series has been up for order for over two weeks now, Hasbro has yet to officially release any images of almost half the wave.
But now they’ve been beaten to the punch by their own distribution, as the summer Spider-Man Legends figures series has hit eBay after being released in Hong Kong!

Even though cases of this summer’s Hasbro Marvel Legends X-Men Series of 6″ figures went up for order a couple weeks ago containing all eight figures in the wave and no duplicates, some collectors only want to pick-and-choose some of their favorite X-Men without having to buy a whole case. As such, folks have been asking me pretty much every single day when Amazon would be listing these figures for individual purchase. Well, I finally have the answer so many of you have been waiting for: the X-Men Legends 6″ Series is now up for order on Amazon with free shipping!

Way back in February 2016, the very first mass-released Captain America Civil War movie toy hit store shelves: the surprisingly-decent Marvel Legends Civil War Captain America Motorcycle and figure set. The back of the box for that item showed off a second figure in the box set assortment–a movie Falcon figure, but Falcon was nowhere to be found at retail. Fast-forward four months, and the time has come for Sam Wilson to spread his wings: auction listings for the Marvel Legends Civil War Falcon figure has now begun appearing online, and the figure is expected to fly into mass retail any day now…

You wouldn’t know it based off the hype levels, but believe it or not, there’s actually a third series of Hasbro Marvel Legends 6″ figures that went up for order this week–a series that’s flying under the radar because it doesn’t contain any X-Men or movie Scarlet Witch figures. The Marvel Legends Spider-Man 2016 Wave 3 series isn’t even getting much of a push yet from Hasbro, but finally we’ve got some decent pictures of the wave from a Taiwanese event…

Yesterday, the most-anticipated wave of Marvel Legends that I can remember ever went up for order: the set of 8 Marvel Legends X-Men Series figures with Juggernaut Build-A-Figure! At the time, Hasbro still hadn’t released clear images of most of the figures in the series. But this afternoon, the hi-res photos of Marvel Legend Deadpool, Phoenix, Rogue, Cable and more finally appeared! And I gotta say: these figures look good…

Heads up, true believers! Hasbro has been teasing us about it for over half a year, but the time has finally arrived for the most talked-about Marvel Legends wave in years: the Marvel Legends X-Men Juggernaut Series is now up for order!
With one of each of eight new 6″ figures and an impressive Juggernaut Build-A-Figure in every case, this hands-down may be the best case of Hasbro Marvel Legends 6″ figures ever released!

Over the weekend, many sites published “Confidential”-stamped images of the next wave of Spider-Man Marvel Legends 2016 figures: the Space Venom Build-A-Figure series! Posting and discussing that manner of info goes against my policy, so I’ve stayed quiet about it for a few days.
But not anymore–! The clock has struck midnight on June 1st, and the Marvel Legends Spider-Man Space Venom Series is now up for order!

When it rains Legends, it pours Legends! We’ve known for a few weeks now that the newest series of Hasbro X-Men Marvel Legends and Spider-Man Marvel Legends 6″ figures would be going up for order on June 1st 2016. Two series of $20 each figures at once can be a lot to handle–but out of nowhere, a third wave has been added to the mix tonight! Though we weren’t expecting it until fall, the Marvel Legends Captain America Civil War Wave 3 cases are now up for order–with movie Scarlet Witch figure!

I don’t think that there’s any contest as far as what’s being the most talked-about and most anticipated Hasbro Marvel Legends 6″ series of 2016–the X-Men wave!
And while Hasbro teased us last week with the first look at the head of the wave’s BAF, in honor of Memorial Day they’re showing us the full toy for the very first time: it’s the X-Men Marvel Legends Juggernaut Build-A-Figure!
