Hasbro hit home run after home run today with their SDCC 2016 reveals, but there’s one Marvel Legends 6″ figure wave that’s not getting quite as much love as the others. Hasbro unveiled the second half of their Doctor Strange Marvel Legends series today, with movie and comic-based Doctor Strange figures and the first-ever major Mordo figure! Does this wave deserve more fanfare than it’s gotten so far?

And the Hasbro Marvel Legends SDCC 2016 news keeps right on coming! While I was watching the Marvel Live Stream earlier today while writing another post, what should appear on my screen but the first three Marvel Legends 2017 figures! I was watching the Marvel Live Stream myself and screen-capping these figures as they appeared, so if you borrow my images to share–credit us, please. (Or not. It’s up to you.) Regardless, we got our first look at the goodness coming our way in 2017: Marvel Legends Angela, Disco Dazzler and Sam Alexander Kid Nova!

Not wanting to blow its proverbial load of Marvel Legends goodness all in one night, Hasbro has been spacing out its reveals for the convention and unveiling new figures a few at a time! And this morning, Hasbro gave press their very first look at a lineup of figures that retailer UPC lists had leaked a few months back. But even if we knew they were coming, they’re still goodies–it’s the Marvel Legends Spider-Man 2016 Wave 3, including Ms. Marvel Kamala Khan, All-New Spider-Man 2099, Spider-UK, the Jackal and more!

Day One of San Diego Comic-Con 2016 is underway! Hasbro is still keeping the bulk of their major Marvel Legends announcements under wraps until the SDCC Hasbro Marvel panel, but they’ve still shown off a healthy number of upcoming, never-before-seen figures during the first day of the convention as well. Among these showings are eleven new Marvel Legends 4″ figures, which happen to include a despot Hulk, a living tree, an anthropomorphic raccoon and yes–even the world’s best squirrel mercenary, Squirrel Pool!

Due to Disney’s late decision to try to keep merchandisers from revealing the presence of Giant-Man in Civil War, not only were few people surprised when he appeared in the movie, but he didn’t get nearly as much fanfare or as many toys as he should have. But for those who don’t want to shell out $120 for the Marvel Legends Giant-Man Build-A-Figure, a consolation prize has now appeared: an exclusive box set with a 12″ Titan Hero Giant-Man!

Not only is this summer’s Hasbro Marvel Legends X-Men figures series momentous for being the first series of X-Men figures in two years, but it’s also the most female-loaded Marvel Legends series ever, with three female characters present in the lineup! I reviewed the very nice Phoenix figure last week, and tonight I’m taking a look at what I hoped would be the definitive version of one of my favorite X-Women: Marvel Legends Rogue!

Way back in February, Hasbro unexpectedly revealed their line of Marvel Legends Premium Role-Play Prop Replicas, including a super-cool life-size Captain America Shield and Iron Man helmet. Many fans cried foul, though, desiring a genuine metal version of Cap’s shield instead of a high-quality plastic version. And to my surprise, Hasbro has heard and obliged–the Marvel Legends Metal Captain America Shield is now up for order! But it will cost you…

I started off my reviews of the 2016 Marvel Legends X-Men figures with a figure that I thought wasn’t getting the limelight it deserved–Phoenix–and today, I’m going to continue with another underrated six-inch figure.
To my surprise, the Marvel Legends Cable figure is still available for order online individually. But it’s not because of any fault of this figure–the X-Men Legends Cable 6″ figure is one of Hasbro’s best figures this year!

When I reached out to readers and asked which of the new X-Men Legends figures I should review first, I expected a cacophony of Deadpool requests–and predictably, there were. But to my surprise, an almost equal number of readers asked to hear about the new Marvel Legends Phoenix figure that’s still available for order online! We’ve had several 6″ Jean Grey figures before–is it worth adding this latest version of the greatest psychic mutant ever in the Marvel Universe to your collections? Read on…

I always root for toy manufacturers to be able to keep their con exclusives under wraps until they’re ready to unveil them, but sometimes that’s just not to be. Such was the case with this year’s Hasbro Marvel Legends SDCC sets. But even though we’ve known the contents for several weeks, it’s still exciting that Hasbro has finally released hi-res photos officially confirming the Marvel Legends The Raft and The Collector’s Vault sets!

San Diego Comic-Con 2016 is fast approaching, and while Hot Toys doesn’t bring any exclusives with them to the show, their Summer Toy Fairs Exclusives are always available for order prior to it.
And as has been the case for the last few years, this year’s limited exclusive will be an Iron Man 3 House Party Protocol armor–and this time, it’s my favorite remaining armor: the exclusive Hot Toys Disco Iron Man figure is now up for order!

There’s no question about it: the Hasbro Marvel Legends 6″ figure line is the single hottest Marvel toy line in existence today.
