Iron Man 3 has been “the next big Marvel movie” for so long that it’s hard to reconcile that the movie is out in theaters now, and the true next big Marvel movie is “The Wolverine”, opening July 26th, 2013! Don’t get me wrong–“The Wolverine” is going to do fairly well at the box office, but it’s not going to gross nearly as much as “Iron Man 3”, nor is it going to have a fraction of the breadth and depth of the various toy lines merchandising Iron Man 3. Even so, Hasbro is putting out some The Wolverine figures to commemorate the movie. But having seen the prototypes now, I kind of wish they weren’t…

2013 Marvel Legends Series 2 Case Assortment Revealed & Order Info

Ever since Hasbro Marvel Legends Series 5 was announced at Toy Fair (2013 Marvel Legends Series 2), I’ve been intrigued about how Hasbro was going to determine the case-pack. Counting variants, there are 9 different figures in the series, so it was entirely possible we’d get Marvel Legends cases with up to 8 different new figures in them. Today, all that guessing came to an end, as retailers were officially allowed to reveal the Marvel Legends 2013 Wave 2 case ratios. And, well.. the case assortment is pretty terrible…

Marvel Universe 2013 Series 1 Case Ratios & Order Info!

It’s been a slow year thus far for Hasbro Marvel Universe figure collectors, but things are about to start heating up! Marvel Universe 2013 Series 1 cases have now been put up for ordering and will ship out in June 2013! While it’s always a bit puzzling when the first series of the year for a toy line ships halfway through the year, I’m thankful to get some new Marvel Universe 3 3/4″ action figures at all! New figures like Mysterio and Elektra will debut in this series, and the case assortment is a pretty good one, too…

Amongst the landslide of new products being released this spring for the Iron Man 3 movie, it would be pretty easy to completely lose sight of a few lines being released. One that shouldn’t be forgotten about, however, is Hasbro’s awesome line of Iron Man 3 Marvel Legends figures.
